For a four star property, there was some amenities that weren't up to par - mainly the bathroom and moldings looked old and worn. There is complimentary turn-down service each night where they leave you yummy, home-made cookies.

The staff is exceptional, especially the bellmen. They have a free shuttle that takes you within 6 miles of the hotel (includes downtown) and the bellmen tell great stories. Incredibly helpful.

I'd stay again.

We really feel we gave this property a chance. We stayed the first time back in Aug 2007. Upon arrival we were checked into a NON-SMOKING Suite that of course smelled very strong of smoke. We asked to be moved and did get a better room. We are Loews First members and should get what they call welcome Amenities. A bottle of wine for us and when we bring our dogs they get dog treats. Actually if you make enough phone calls you may get these things before you leave. A couple months later we needed to be back in denver on business and decided to give them a second chance thinking anyone can have a bad day....Right? Well upon arrival........no wine ..........smokey room........no rooms to move to. After 2 calls wine arrived at 11pm after 2 more calls they did bring what they called an air purifier........actually a humidifier. I don't consider myself one that complains, perhaps had I been better at it more would have happend. Unless you smoke......Avoid this hotel. As for Loews First.....It is a crock.......don't waste your time. We gave them a second chance and they failed miserably.

The staff and service at Loew's Denver hotel is absolutely excellent. The rooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood, although it provides lots of convenience such as walgreens, corporate chain restaurants, etc., leaves much to be desired in the way of scenery and nightlife. Two thumbs up to the staff, though. I would definitly stay here again. And the free cookies in the lobby in the afternoon are delicious,,,and warm from the oven!

I stayed here for a conference for six nights in a one bedroom suite, The room was pleasant and clean. The daily service was very good. The bathrooms are clean and neat. The location leaves something to be desired. It is a no where location. My room looked out on a ugly apartment complex and the parking lot. To go anywhere requires a car to get around. I am a Lowes first member and called prior to my arrival to make sure my Loews first membership and arrival gift was recorded. When I arrived nothing was in my room. I was promised my arrival gift would be delivered by three different staff members and it never arrived. I gave up after the third attempt. They also claimed since I booked through an outside source I would not be credited for room nights. I paid Loews directly 250 dollars a night at checkout. This seems a bit unfair. I think I will no longer stay at this chain if this is how they treat loyal customers. I have stayed at other Loews and always had been impressed with locations and the quality of the facility. This one does not measure up to other Loews. No pool and very uninspired building and lobby. I would look elsewhere in the future.
