Stayed at the hotel around New Years Eve for 3 nights. Room was great, although I got a "Kansas" view, rather than a Rocky Mountain View. Room was large and had great amenities. Fridge was handy. Didn't hear any of my neighbors once!

Didn't know much about Denver, and this hotel is half way between the airport and downtown. So basically, it's not close to anything. But I had a rental car and was downtown in 15 minutes. Not a problem at all. I guess anyone who has been to Denver knows that the airport is a wayyyyy out there.

Staff was friendly and helped with all of my requests. On-Site rental car drop off was convienant for my 1-way rental.

I would have preferred to stay downtown and be close to the "action" on New Years...but was able to find others in lobby to split the cab fare.

100% satisfied with this hotel and would tell anyone to book there. A+

I stayed at this hotel for a week with a large group from work. It turned out to not be the best choice but we got a big discount, which apparently sealed the deal. Nonetheless, there are several things about this hotel that were less than ideal.

The most obvious issue is the location. Why stay at this place, a $20 cab ride from downtown Denver, if you can stay in downtown? The answer is, you don't if you don't have to! The hotel is located right off the expressway in a rather barren, industrial-park type of location. About the only thing within a 10-minute walk of the hotel is a McDonald's, Arby's, and a Panera Bread. Oh yes and a Home Depot. A bit further -- maybe a 15- or 20-minute walk, is a Wal-Mart and some other restaurants. This is simply not the type of hotel designed for walking out the door and visiting shops and good restaurants.

As for the hotel itself, they were in the midst of a long-overdue renovation. This meant a lot of noise if you had to go to your room during the day. The hotel has the style of something that was perhaps considered ultra-modern in the late 70's but now seems dated. All the halls open to interior balcony walkways that overlook the lobby. This isn't the best idea because sound from the bar and restaurant carries straight up. As a result, the bar closed each weeknight at 12 a.m., much to the annoyance of many conference guests.

The room service food is considerably overpriced for what you get. $10 for an ordinary hamburger with no sides; $34 for a not-so-special filet (and add $5 for mashed potatoes). I suppose way out there, it's either take the hotel's food or take a 15 or 20 minute cab ride to LoDo.

The rooms were ordinary. Comfortable beds, typical for Marriott. There were no proper dressers, which was a bit incovenient for storing clothes on a longer stay. Free internet is a plus, but unfortunately it's only wired internet -- not wireless.

Overall, this is a place you might stay in a jam or if you get a great deal. But I don't see it having much appeal and I would not choose to stay at this property again.

This is a beautiful hotel--lobby is awesome. Our room was great--big, clean, great beds and great bath. It is a little tricky to find, but worth looking for. We arrived early and they booked us in an upgraded room for the same price as another as it was the only one already cleaned. All of the staff was friendly. We were going to a Bronco game and really it took us less than a half hour to get there and home after the game. There isn't much around the hotel but it is fast to get to downtown, Coors Field, and mile High Stadium. My only complaint is that it is near the train tracks which can be noisy early in the morning.

I was a little concerned with where this was located but decided this was better then a truely unknown. First the most important thing to me in a quality hotel is the bed comfort and I can say this hotel didn't disappoint. The king size bed was excellent. Staff and check in was just as good. The only thing I would warn everyone about is not to rely on the hotel restaurant. First we tried room service it was about 3pm and thought the food would be good since the staff talked highly of the food. The food was an hour late missing our main order "crab dip" and the fries we ordered were at least three hours old and not even edible, but the bowl it came in was extremely hot. So we chalk it up to ordering at the wrong time of day so we tried breakfast in the morning "acutally sitting" in the restaurant but no change. The buffet food seemed to be very old even though we were there about 9am. It was also the first time a staff person seemed indifferent to our situation at least the room service bill was removed when we called the third time.
So Again very decent hotel just don't rely on their food service. I would for sure stay again but I will just plan on eating out :)

From the time we drove up to this impressive hotel, to the time we left, the staff could not have been more helpful. Altogether a very pleasant stay and can't wait to visit again. Very comfortable rooms, good bar service, helpful check-in and concierge service. I would highly recommend this for the price. We have paid a lot more for a lot less.
