We had a sad experience with this Inn. A family Christmas gift of a special night on the town for our elderly Mother and her recently widowed friend was ruined when the suite she personaly picked out and was promised was not available when the 2 ladies arrived. They put Mom in a smaller room, in another building far away from her nervous friend. At no time did they let us know there was a problem or try and correct the problem. Nothing. If you plan on staying here, especially if it's something special, you may want to double, even triple check your plans with them. If they are willing to ruin two elderly women's Christmas gift...?

My wife and I recently stayed at the Queen Anne for 2 nights in February on vacation and we couldn't have picked a better place to see Denver. We had the "rooftop" room which has its own private deck and jacuzzi overlooking the city skyline... just beautiful. A lot of their other rooms were really interesting as well (check out their website to see). Although situated on a residential street, it is literally a 10 minute walk - that's right, walk - to most of the downtown attractions like the pedestrian mall and the museums around the state house. The Innkeepers (especially Tom) are friendly and helpful, but not overbearing ... they're there for you when you want them. The Inn also provides a great book of guest reviews of restaurants and a pile of menus which we took full advantage of. I have traveled to Denver before on business, and I can also safely say that this Inn has been my favorite place to stay, and we hope to return again.

Stayed in the Caldor room. Very nice, could use some new bedsheets. Other than that, very nice. Inn Keepers very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Food and drinks were good. Loved the piped in chamber music.

The Queen Anne is the quintessential bed and breakfast. It is conveniently located near downtown dining and shopping, without being 'in downtown'. The house is great, although the rooms are a little small. We stayed in the rooftop room, which was a little warm, being on the 3rd floor, but the outside hot tub with a view of downtown was nice. Breakfast was okay. The really gem is Tom, the innkeeper, who is super friendly and super knowledgeable about the entire era. Would definetly recommend to B&B types.
