I choose this B & B for a conference because the rooms were less expensive than the conference rooms. After staying, however, I was happy with much more than the price. The decor is very original and beautiful. My room was quite nice. And the free wine tastings were a fun way to meet other guests. Also, it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the conference center. Finally, the owner and staff were very friendly and made me feel right at home.

The owner and staff were fabulous, personable, warm and comforting... I began to feel like a member of the household, and looked forward to relaxing after a day of meetings or wandering. I would highly recommend the Queen Anne for everyone who is searching for a peaceful atmosphere, stimulating conversation, and lovely food ...actually i would recommend the Queen Anne for everyone, and by the time you leave you will understand what the majority of hotels are missing.

I would go back to Denver just to stay here again. I was struck by the personal attention, the calm, healthy and "green" atmosphere, and all of the little details that make this place so unique (e.g., delicious vegetarian, locally grown (in season)/organic food, helpful suggestions about places to shop and find great food, happily ubiquitous jazz music, and the well-decorated, non-floral ambience). The inn is a nice 10 minute walk from downtown and from the Capitol Hill area. I was extremely glad not to be staying at the impersonal downtown hotel where my conference was held, but to have this funky, friendly place to return to. I felt very much at home there.

I was concerned by some of the past reviews, but believe that they were associated with previous management. Since July 2008, it seems to me that Milan (the new owner) has extensively improved this B and B, both aesthetically and philosophically.

We stayed in the Tabor room. It was smaller & cozier than some of the others, but the bathroom was very generous in size. They piped in music, which was a nice touch. The light also had a dimmer switch, as well as great natural lighting, thanks to large windows!

The Queen Anne is doing a great job keeping an eco-friendly environment going on. I was more than impressed by all of the efforts, from shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispensers within the shower, to low-flow bathroom fixtures.

Milan (the owner) is an amazing cook! His breakfasts were great! I'm borderline picky when it comes to food, & I ate everything he offered up! In the evenings, wine & cheese was offered in the dining room, but we only got to enjoy this once. We did enjoy what we sampled & we let Milan know we regretted not getting to participate every evening!

Everyone went out of their way to be accomodating! Lindsay offered suggestions on everything from dining options, to directions, to sight-seeing recommendations! As their resident designer, she's making the rooms look amazing, one room at a time!

We warned them, we'll be back!!!
