“LOVE the Queen Anne!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

It's been a while since I stayed, so my review is a little out of date (well before Feb 2013 but that was the oldest option I TA provided), but I found myself recommending it to a good friend traveling to Denver soon and it brought back all my good memories! I stayed in the Rachel Z suite and it was big, comfortable and mostly quiet... except for the one night of my stay when a couple checked in quite late at night for a booty call and made a tremendous amount of noise (ahem) and wrecked the shower in the room closest by before checking out before breakfast. Not the b&b's fault. It's within walking distance of just about everything you'd want to walk to in downtown Denver, with a great if unassuming restaurant right up the street that serves a variety of french fries that you'll want to rescue your arteries from after eating but, if unsuccessful, you'll die happily sated. The very best feature, imho, is the breakfast table. Not only is it GORGEOUS but it's large and round and inviting of conversations with your fellow travelers. Milan is a wonderful host, and his food is terrific - and the dining room is adjacent to the kitchen that remains open so it feels like a home rather than a hotel. I'd absolutely stay here again.

My Fiancee and I have stayed at the Queen Anne more than 5 times...why in the heck would we stay anywhere else while in Denver!?! I travel quite a bit for work and we visit hotels and B&Bs throughout the country--this is honestly our favorite. Not sure if its the location, the breakfast, or the people (both the guests and the employees). We seem to have different people cook our meals in the morning, and besides being very kind, they are quite knowledgeable about the food they serve and the community surrounding their place of employment. The beds are amazing and I've only bashed my shin once on the frame (this is a typical occurrence for me at most hotels). Regardless, the front porch is so nice and relaxing with the large park right in front of you (perfect for people watching). The back patio and gardens are gorgeous and well-maintained--a perfect place to sip (or guzzle, in my case) the wine they serve at happy hours. Don't waste your time looking for something else---you've found it.

Room Tip: Go for the one with the Hot Tub!!!

We stayed 2 nights in the suite which was very comfortable and clean. The staff were gracious hosts and AMAZING cooks. We enjoyed the healthy and tasty breakfasts and the conversation around the large round table. The location is so convenient to good restaurants and the neighborhood felt very safe for walking. We'll stay again when in Denver.

We had 3 nights in the Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast at the start of our tour to Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. The hotel is well situated and all the main attractions of the city are within walking distance. The wine tasting in the evening were a nice way to get together with other residents. The snacks were varied and really tasty. Breakfasts were very different and they used much of the produce that they grew themselves. The staff were very helpful - giving advice and making suggestions of where to go and what to see.

Had a bit of difficulty finding the b&b driving from DIA, but it was dark, pouring with rain and had. just flown from UK.

When we got to b&b all our tensions of the drive evaporated. What a wonderful find. Superb location for an easy walk to the heart of Denver. Free parking at the b&b. Very quiet room which felt more like home - absolutely no traffic noise.

Next morning we had a superb breakfast served by Sarah.

This b&b is one of the great finds and helped to make our vacation truly memorable.

We had a nice stay in the Aspen room but some things you may want to know. It's up on the third floor, so there is walking up with luggage which may not be for everyone. Also, the roof slants, which, if you are not careful, can be a hazard to your head. The bathroom shower is tiny. But great breakfasts and very clean. A good choice.

Room Tip: no fitness center or pool.

We enjoyed our 2 night visit. The Queen Anne is a very nice B&B in walking distance of downtown Denver. We enjoyed meeting and talking to the owner/chef. The first night we were the only guests as there were many cancellations because of the flooding around Denver. We enjoyed the personal service for breakfast. The 2nd night was a full house. Breakfast was fun with guests from England, Australia and many states throughout the USA.

Room Tip: 3rd floor rooms may be difficult for some guests.
