“Well worth a visit”

Very informative tour. The tour guide was excellent and the knowledge gained from the tour amazing. The home has been restored via photographs from Molly herself.

“Very Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

It costs adults $8 for a 45 minute tour, and it was very interesting and worthwhile.
A lot of the fittings are inevitably not original possessions of the family, but you get the flavour of the period and the limitless resources of Margaret (Molly) Brown.
Well worth a detour.

“A real eye opener!! Not to be missed.”

This small museum/house is not to be missed. The knowledge gained is unbelievable. Molly (Margaret) Brown was an incredible lady and this short tour will really open your eyes about her.

“Margaret Was So Much More”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

If you enjoy touring historic homes, this one's a winner. Beautiful turn of the century home, lovely docents in period dresses, nice gift shop. Margaret Brown was so much more to Colorado than a Titanic survivor - promoted suffrage rights, created child welfare agencies, led women's clubs to promote the issues of the day. If you're a fan, the Titanic part of her story is interesting too. My favorite new fact - the family pew in the neighborhood church that she and her husband helped raise funds to build was #6; the number of the her life boat - #6!

If you have a tween that's into the Titanic, they might enjoy the tour but not for younger kids. Street parking for just an hour, several surface lots in the neighborhood. Park once and pay the daily rate if you're going to visit other attractions in the area. The Byers Evans House is just a few blocks away.
