“Great biscuits and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

Breakfast begins with a biscuit that is a meal in itself...homemade jelly/jam at each table along with homemade ketchup and hot sauce...a variety of southern-styled entrees and served promptly. Mackenzie, our server, was most alert and gave us a brief introduction to Lucile's. Excellent food, service and price...the only drawback is limited parking on the street. We arrived before 9:00 am on a Sunday and waited for about 5-10 minutes which was no big deal. When we left, there were many groups waiting to be seated. Give it a try and I am sure you will be back again and again.

“My favorite creole breakfast joint!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Huge biscuits with homemade strawberry-rhubarb jam. Grits or potatoes or half and half on the side. Srambled eggs with fried oysters and creamed spinach. Cheesy grits with shrimp. Creole breakfast with poached eggs and red beans. So many yummy choices. You can never go wrong. Top it off with a spicy bloody or a cafe mocha. My favorite creole breakfast joint in Colorado. Plus there are multiple locations.

“Nom Nom Nom Nom..........”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Since being introduced to the location on Alameda and Logan many years ago, I have been a Loyal Lucille's follower. Biscuits here mean business, thick and fluffy and the size of your hand. Beignets, (pronuonced ben-yays) are AMAZING, dusted in powdered sugar and a slice of heaven on Earth. Eggs anyway Cajun, beans and crawfish and champagne makes the best damn breakfast you ever had. Period.

“Must visit restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

This is a suprisingly, delightful, delicious place to eat. They don't take reservations, so get a mimosa, served with a small bottle of champagne, and get ready to wait for a delicious meal! This is true cajun food, and every dish is mouth watering.
