“Unbelievable, friendly staff"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2009

This resort was beautiful, clean, and we had a HUGE 2 bedroom/2bath at a great rate over Labor Day. We missed the shuttle that was taking people to the warming house for a wedding, so the manager took us to the top in his Yukon, which was time-consuming. He gave us a "mini-tour" on the way up and was so kind. Also, the rooms were very clean and the concierge, Jane, very helpful. On two occasions, the front desk staff had to come help us get out of the garage, as we had forgotten our tickets. They always came running with a smile. Loved this place!

We enjoyed visiting CB as it was the location of our honeymoon many years ago. We chose this hotel based on past reviews and were very pleased as well. Special kudos goes out to staff members Jacob and Stewart for making us feel so welcome and helping us with our needs during our stay. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Lodge for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The rooms were very nice and housekeeping did a great job of making the rooms up each day.

The best and worst part of staying in Crested Butte is the area itself...you get to experience a laid back, rustic western town with no fast food or Wal-Mart. When they tell you that Crested Butte is in the middle of no where...believe it!

This was a beautiful resort in a breathtaking location! The accommodations were some of the best I have seen. The staff seemed sincerely interested in making this stay the best it could be. The room amenities were luxurious-comfy beds, fireplace, kitchenette with upgraded appliances and granite counters, beautiful tiled bath with glass showers, lovely views of the mountains etc. I would highly recommend this hotel/condo to anyone looking for the "not the ordinary" sleeping accommodations.

Once again we had a great time mountain biking. The lodge is always great. Crested Butte remains a great secluded mountain community. These mountains are my favorites all 4 seasons.

My husband and I decided to enjoy a romantic week-end in Crested Butte but because we decided at the last minute we made no reservations. We pulled into town at 6pm on a saturday night and picked up the phone at the visitors center which has a direct line to a number of hotels. We chose the "Lodge at Mountaineer square" and we were NOT disappointed. When we arrived the desk staff was friendly and informed. It's a beautiful hotel. You can choose between" hotel "type rooms or you can rent condos from studios to 4 bedrooms I believe. We choose a 1 bedroom with a mountain view. The decor was beautiful. All new, tastefully handpicked furniture from the owners themselves.I loved the look of everything from the leather couch to the big over stuffed chairs, the large wood and iron dining room table and chairs. They made sure there were candle sticks on the diningroom table which was a nice touch when we sat down to a lovely dinner. It was sunny, clean, had a nice big deck that you could get to from both the bedroom and the living area. The kitchen was all stainless and was stocked with everything you need from your kitchen.
The staff is helpful and very pleasant. I look forward to going back this winter with the kids to enjoy these accomadations again. I give this a 2 thumbs up and more.GO, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed here with 2 other families (6 adults & 5 girls under the age of 10). The kids loved the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The adults loved the spacious 3 bedroom/3bath condo and convenient location to the slopes, ticket office, ski rental, and town bus. Would definetely recommend this place to anyone wanting to ski Crested Butte.
