“This inn was everything and more than I'd hoped for. A perfect ski resort inn.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

It was newly renovated with good quality furniture, lamps, bedding, carpet and towels. A rain shower head and granite countertops. Queen size bed with thick down comforter. Plenty of hangers. A central ski boot warmer. Lovely breakfast area with plenty of seating. Owners Kim and Ken were great. Kim called me and made sure we received an early arrival. Ken actually led us up to the snowshoe trails a mile away. Michael was friendly and helpful - a wonderful ambassador for the inn. A real wood burning fire in the lobby. A+.

Our family spent Christmas in Crested Butte and stayed at the Nordic Inn. I called a week prior to confirm our reservations that my husband booked, only to find out that he booked a one king bed room for the two of us and also our two teenage children. I spoke with Kim and she was so helpful and patient with me in making our room situation right. Upon arrival, she greeted me with such kindness as if we were family. Kim and Michael ensured our trip was memorable and offered great and helpful suggestions for lunch and dinner venues and even snowboarding advice for my husband. Our accommodations were perfect and it's all because of her. The Nordic Inn is a hop, skip and a jump to the lifts and the staff treat you like family. When we go back to Crested Butte, we already know where we'll be staying. Thank you, Kim & Michael!

My daughter and puppy Harry road tripped to Denver for X-mas. On our way back to CA we stopped to stay at the Nordic Inn in Crested Butte, CO. It was the pinicle of the entire trip. There was snow on the ground and the thermometer was showing a brisk 10 degrees when we arrived. It was incredibly beautiful. We were greeted by our wonderful hostest Kim and shown to our awesome room. It had super comfy beds with foe fur blankets, warm shower, fridge, microwave, plenty of room to move around, and an incredible view. We had a hankering for Chinese food and Kim directed us to Ryce oriental cuisine. It was soooooooo. Goooooooood! In the morning a full continental breakfast awaited us and it was available till 10a.m.. Most places only have this available till 9a.m.. Our only complaint was we were only staying one night. Next time we go directly to Crested Butte and stay at the Nordic Inn for the full week.

My husband and I (and our bulldog) stayed at The Nordic Inn in Crested Butte, CO over Christmas 2013. The rooms have everything you need and feel so cozy without sacrificing luxury. This lodge is pet friendly; make sure to coordinate this prior to arrival so you're ensured a pet-friendly room. The staff will do anything to help you! They'll assist with loading/unloading luggage, advice for what to do in the local area, and they'll make dinner reservations if you need them. You are about a 5-10 minute walk to ski on the mountain; a 10 minute drive to the main town area. Kim (the owner) will get to know you and do what she can to make your stay amazing. One of our favorite things was that there was breakfast each morning and coffee/tea service throughout the day/night. We hope to travel back to Crested Butte soon so we can stay at The Nordic Inn again! Going back any time during the year will be fun!

My family and I were just in Crested Butte for a series of Nordic Ski races and stayed at The Nordic Inn. I have visited CB a number of times previously, but this is the first time that we have stayed here. This place is outstanding and super kid-friendly. A number of other families on our ski team stayed here, too, and everyone had a great time. Kim, one of the owners, is often on-site and made restaurant suggestions and even called and made reservations for our groups.

The breakfast is outstanding before a day outside.

The rooms are great--rustic but modern. Very nice.

I don't know what else to add except that The Nordic Inn is a truly outstanding experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is not near the hot tub if you want a quieter evening.

The Nordic Inn has been completely renovated from it's original 50-year old style. The rooms, furnishings and common areas are beautiful and the innkeeper's hospitality and caring for customers is beyond outstanding! We could not have been more comfortable. A 10-minute drive takes you into town, where great shopping and dining await. Despite the cold and snow, we in no way found it difficult to get around. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful during our three-day visit. We will definitely find our way back to the Nordic Inn.

We arrived at the Nordic Inn and immediately saw it was a cute little lodge. It's not your mainstream hotels where they check you in and send you on your way. Kim (one of the owners) greeted us with open arms and got to know us and also gave us so much valuable info about the town and where to go. The rooms are VERY clean and comfortable. The view is awesome and it's literally a 5-10 min walk to the ski lifts and shops. I will def come back to the Nordic Inn. GREAT LODGE and GREAT STAFF!
