“Lots of amenities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

We rented a one bedroom condo which had a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, fireplace, dining area, balcony and sofa bed. It was clean and well stocked. The building has underground parking which was very helpful as it snow at least eight inches every day. There was also a pool table, outdoor hot tub and a decently equipped fitness room. The shuttle stop was right across the street as was restaurants, a store, the Super Bee lift and Critterland for the kids under six. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the ski lifts. It's a gorgeous view.

A great place within walking distance to the lift. Unit was clean and well equipped. Transportation right at the curb, secure building, underground garage and ski lockers make this place ideal. This place is located in the East Village and the restaurants and coffee shop plus ski shop are close by. If you want to hop on bus to Center Village it comes by often enough. There you will find more shops and restaurants and easier slopes to ski!

1 bedroom unit is not great for price even in summer. Poor sleep as no AC or fan. I -70 is loud with windows open and fridge was running/ rattling continuously. Could not sleep in bedroom as too hot and no airflow. Used lumpy pullout couch in main room.

The condos were OK, but not great. You are paying for the location, not a great room.

We paid about $500 a night for a two bedroom condo. Rooms are small and already showing signs of wear. Construction is "Spec House" quality. Our room overlooked the mountain and the Super Bee lift. The unit was advertised as sleeping for 6; two in a master suite, two in a small bedroom and two on the sofa bed. Yet the rooms had only 4 towels. You have to call to get more.

The staff replaced the coffee maker quickly when we told them it was broken.

Location is across the street from the Super Bee lift, which accesses the Intermediate and advance part of Copper Mountain. Although advertised as "ski-in, ski-out" the lodge is about 200 meters from the front door of the lodge to the lift.

One of the reasons we chose this lodge was the on site spa. However, on Sunday of President's Day weekend, two of the three jacuzzi's were out of order. One spa is not enough for a 4 story lodge full of sore skiers.

Only one of two elevators worked. This elevator was the only way up and down for both guests and cleaning staff. it was not unusual to wait several minutes for an elevator, only to have it show up with hotel staff and supplies.

Check in office is not well signed and a bit hard to find on the north side of the center village.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor could eliminate waiting for elevators. Lodges at the Center Villag...

We stayed in unit 231, a 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo. Two of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, the other didn't. That was our only gripe. The condo was clean & well-equipped. We ran out of paper towels & trash bags but were quickly resupplied by housekeeping. The location was great for the event we were attending. The rate seemed high to us, but we have never been to Copper in summer before.

We booked a gold one bedroom unit in east village and were allocated into Copper Springs at checkin. Our expectations were quite high as we had paid extra for a gold room and although a new block, there were several issue which could easily be addressed but make me suggest you look elsewhere.

The good points: New building, decent sound insulation between rooms, 150 yards level walk to the super bee lift, headed car parking with enough height for an SUV and ski box on top, apartment is new and equipment works, building is very clean, easy free shuttle bus to centre of copper, ski tuning bench in garage, free pool table, ski lockers close to the enterance to the building.

The bad points: The pull out sofa bed although almost new was so unconfortable the kids refused to sleep on it, the kitchen was very poorly equipped if you want to cater all your meals, the place is souless it is a modern block with no character, there is no one located in the building and you have to call a central line (wait for a few mins to get an answer) and then some hours before anyone comes to the room, the maid service is suppose to be every 3 days but ours didn't show until we complained on the afternoon of day 4. There are nice outdoor hottubs, but with 150 rooms and two small hottubs they were always very packed. There is wireless but you have to pay $10 a day extra to use it!

One excellent thing about staying here or in a copper mountain property and purchasing your lift ticket from them is the bee line. It is almost like getting into the ski school line at the lifts and usually works really well, on very busy days you have to wait for the bee line too but this is usually a lot shorter than the regular line.
