This was the first time I had visited a La Quinta Inn, so I wasn't sure what to expect. To my delight, the room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. There were plenty of towels in the bath. We had a 1st floor, end room located at the bottom of the stairs but we didn't hear any foot traffic...it was quiet. The staff was friendly. They were well versed in area attractions and how to get there. The breakfast was very nice - the fruit was fresh - and there were plenty of tables for all the guests to sit at. Easy access to the interstate.

This was the first time we were going to use a La Quinta Inn. We had called ahead and registered for one night. After we checked in and saw the room, we cancelled and left. Like other writers have stated, the front desk person and the front entry were pleasant. And the bathroom was OK clean. But, the room was very dim & dingy. And it had a stale odor to it. It needs to be modernized/updated, especially at this rate. In addition, this La Quinta sits in a commercial area. Passed right by it the first time because of the commercial development around it. Don't know if all La Quinta rooms are in this condition...but for just a few dollars more we found several newer & nicer hotels in the area to choose from...the difference was night and day.

We stayed for 4 nights in Sept 2006, and another night during the Memorial Day weekend 2007, with kids, parents and grandparents. For $59 per night, both stays were wonderful. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service of this motel, given the low price. You can't go wrong choosing La Qunita Inn - Garden of the Gods!

Chose this hotel because of price, availability on a short notice trip, I liked the name "Garden of the Gods" I realised it was for a national park which I figured was nearby. The hotel was decent, it had been snowing the previous days so outside was covered in snow, not the best when staying at an outdoor corridor style hotel, but overall not a problem. The staff was friendly, rooms were average budget room, but clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was decent, standard La Quinta selection including fresh guest made waffles. The best thing was visiting Garden of the Gods and nearby Pikes Peak.

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel given the class rating. I thought it was nicely decorated, clean, and a very convenient location. The staff was very pleasant, expecially a young man who was working the evening we checked into our room. There was a nice breakfast available in the morning, as well. No negatives as far as I'm concerned. I would highly recommend this place.
