Check in was super easy, and the lady was great and really informative. We originally requested a king suit when we booked online. When we checked in, we were given a double full bed room. A bit of a minus, but sometimes it's best just to go with the flow. They are pet friendly, which is a plus for us. When you come here, you have to remember that this is not a four or five star hotel. Our room was fairly clean, and didn't smell like smoke as stated in prior reviews. Their beds are a little old and the bed skirt torn. It is in a little bit of a sketchy area. However, it's not far from the more popular attractions. Not the best place we have stayed, but not the worst place. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but you can't beat the price for what it is.

The hotel itself is well located for getting around Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. The carpet and bedspreads are a bit worn, but still serviceable. Michael at the front desk at night was real nice and helpful, you really could not ask for nicer.

BELIEVE EVERY BAD REVIEW you read in this hotels case!Myfamily and I have stayed at this hotel every April for the past 12 years and was satisfied. This time it was completely changed. supposedly they are under new management and trying to change things around...really?...its been fine until this past yearly visit.you can tell they have people living in the hotel now.new management seem to be working on slum lording. There are people hanging out all over the lobby..doing drugs outside in the parking lots.Supect there were a few prostitutes making this their new workplace. We had rooms that no one came to cleaned. There were nictotine patches found in our information tray that expired in 2012(pretty dangerous if kids had found them.)coffee left in coffee pots when we checked in.mold and scum in bathrooms..The very worst...the pool...it smelled horrible..no upkeep at all!they had to be told to add chlorine to their pool..no towels...I suspect they are so busy playing landlord to the majority...they fail to clean REAL guests rooms and therefore have no clean towels...there are people coming and going at all hours of the night...so no sleep either...GROSS GROSS place!..this has all occurred in one years time..it use to be a decent hotel..we are never going back..there are some great higher class hotels up the road they may cost a few dollars more, but worth it...just pass this creepy place up...they need turned in to the Wyndham hotel group as well as a few other places..Im thinking of...stay away...its all gone to pot

We appreciate your comments and concerns during your recent stay with us. Its dis-heartening to hear you and your family were not happy during your stay. I will say it would have been helpful to address these matters with me as soon as they arose, as my staff and I would have been more than happy to do whatever we could to resolve them.
My staff and I strive everyday to create a fun, clean, and safe environment for all of our guests here, and we apologize for not living up to our own expectations for you and you family.

We checked in to no towels in the room. She was getting ready to fold them. I sent the girls (17, 18, & 20) down to get 4 sets and they were told we could only have 3. There were people running up and down the halls yelling until way after 12 midnight. The manager did come up at one point and it slowed down for about 30 minutes. Then the bathtub looked like it had puke in it...i think it was a patch but gross. The bathroom door had fist holes thru both sides. When we walked in from breakfast the next morning it smelled like mildew. It looked good from outside.

This hotel is horrid. Rude people work there and everything is so disorganized. The "breakfast" is terrible. The pool is dirty, looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There is a "no smoking" policy yet you can smell pot smoke on each floor. No towels and it takes an act of God to get them. Its pretty obvious drugs are bought and sold out of this "hotel." Pretty sure so are prostitutes. The rooms aren't clean. Dust and food crumbs left on the nightstands. Trash left behind dressers. Holes in the wall. Police are there 24/7. Its not worth it regardless of the price.
