“HORRIBLE! Not clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014 via mobile

This places lacks cleanliness. Even the pool wasn't clean. We went swimming one night didn't smell any chlorine or cleaner. When we went back to the room to change, it smelled like our swimsuits were placed in a bag for a week in a hot car. Closet smelled horrible. All they did was spray smelly stuff in there and didn't go away. Coffee pots were not cleaned before we checked into the rooms. Halls weren't vacuumed, Laundry room door was always open and that room was NOT clean. Our trash in the bathroom wasn't taken out until I actually had to put it out in the open. Could hear everything from upstairs rooms and everyone using the stairs. Doors on the sides of the building were open and unlocked so anyone could come in the hotel without a card. I will never stay here again.

This place was cheap, but the pictures were nice. I was fooled.

The bad:
Our "mountainside view" room had a view that was blocked by trees. There was half a cheese stick under our bed that looked like it had been there for a week. It was hot when the loud AC unit wasn't on, and cold when it was. There were broken bottles in the parking lot. We went two days without having anyone clean our room, make our beds, or give us fresh towels; I had to take the dirty towels to the front myself and ask for more. We also ran out of toilet paper and tissue paper because of this, and I had to empty the trash myself. They had to leave the back door to the outside open, presumably because the lock was broken just like the door to the pool which wouldn't open with my key, causing me to have to go get someone to open it. This seems like a safety issue. For the first day I thought the bedside lamp was broken, only to discover it was unplugged (?!). The remote for the tv worked intermittently; I eventually just left it off so I didn't have to mess with it.

Worst of all, their internet was TERRIBLE and barely worked, oftentimes cutting out completely.

The good:
It's close to the Historic downtown area, which has some nice shops. Also, the beds were kinda comfy.

Common areas were a bit shabby and there's no elevator. Luggage cart was kinda broken too. However the room was nice and clean and they had the AC nice and cool. Bed and sheets were comfortable and there were waffles for breakfast. For the price it's a pretty good deal.
