Very pretty place with a great view. Fantastic restarant with 5 Star service. They did however accidently cancel our reservation and were not particularly accomodating when we pointed out there mistake.

Room Tip: Reconfirm your reservation before arriving.

It just doesn't get any better that this. Attend a Christmas party event and spent 2 nights. The deer outside our window put on a show (was mating season) and they didn't care who watched! The Christmas show was wonderful and food was outstanding. Food at the restaurants was to die for. Never had better service anywhere.

Having been to many high-end resorts, the Broadmoor struck me as #1...because of the
people working there. They were all extremely friendly and seemed to actually enjoy doing their jobs. I'm sure management has instilled in them the notion, make certain that guests at the Broadmoor are happy and get everything they want: incredible! My reason for going was a long week-end adult tennis camp. Karen the Director, welcomed all of us in a way that said, "We are glad you are here at the Broadmoor with us!"

If you like old and stately combined with grand luxury, you will like the B-moor. It was
originally built in 1918...about the height of the 'Guilded Age' and the architecture shows it.
Some how, I got a suite that was almost as big as my 2 BR apartment here in Aurora. Opening
the door to the suite, you found yourself walking down a hall to enter the living room which was
approximately 15' x 25'- no joke! The BR was about 16' x 16' with a dressing room and a two
section bath room that was entirely made of marble. The king bed had 8 pillows, two large sham pillows and a red velvet pillow with gold tassels! With the overhead wall canopy, I thought I was sleeping in Alva Vanderbilt's bed at Marble House in Newport!

Finally, if you go, make sure you make dinner reservations ahead of your arrival because the place has been sold out lately. The Penrose restaurant is the only 5 Star & 5 Diamond restaurant in Colorado. I do have to say that I ate at "The Tavern" and would NOT recommend eating there. I did eat in the golf Grill and it was excellent. The Sunday brunch has more food selection stations than I have ever seen including at the Ritz Carlton in Boston. The dining room is also understated elegance that should not be missed!

This is definetely a 5 star establiment. The service is second to none. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a victorian style. They are very spacious, comfortable & clean. The beds & pillows are very comfortable and the bathroom is very large and clean & the water pressure is great. The grounds are beautifully manicured with two little lakes with swans & ducks. you can take a small boat out on the lakes. They have many restaurants and shops. They also have the hall of fame with all the important people that have stayed there. Their spa is fantastic!! ereryone that works there makes sure to say hi to you. They have a walking path that goes around the lakes and grounds.

If you have ever stayed at a high end European luxury resort - and you've ever had the pleasure of feeling pampered with haute cuisine, attentive spa service, heavenly atmosphere surrounded by a majestic mountain view with perfect weather even when it's cloudy and breezy and cool, you might want to visit The Broadmoor - even if you've already been there! It's the kind of place one simply can't get enough of - no matter what the season or reason. This place is unbelievable! It is costly but, in the winter - when the weather isn't superb and tourism is slow - it's a good idea to keep checking for special off-seaon rates - you will be pleasantly surprised - definitely worth the airfare! Also a great and relaxing place for a girfriends' get-together or to just go to spend time alone!

Room Tip: Because of the surroundings, all rooms are good!

Hi,

The heaven on earth, I have visited this property during winters. Its one of the best property ever build on earth. Huge area lush greenery & excellent ambiance. The staff is very courteous & would prefer new wing as compared to old wing building.

It makes you feel very special when you enter the main lobby in the old wing, you can actually see small starts & gold leaf decor made at the entrance & a warm welcome by courteous staff.

Once you climb the escalator you enter the upper floor & can have a great view of the lake which is frozen during the winters.

This hotel was actually build by Mr.Penros who owned the property lately.

He & his wife were staying in this property but unfortunately they could not have the happiness to a child to compensate for the same he have done child art painting on all the ceiling of the old wing.

I can write a book on this hotel, a great place with rich historical background.

I loved the sunday brunch & banquet hall placed out side the main wing.

Overall a romantic place were I would definitely like to go again.

Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Lake facing room.

If you are seeking a first class, 5 star experience then go to the Broadmoor. We are locals of Colorado Springs and it has been over 4 years since we have stayed at this magnificent property. The new owner of 3 years now, has done a top-notch job on managing the property and renovating the rooms and public areas. My wife and I had a special occasion we celebrated and stayed in a “superior room” and it was nothing short of exquisite. Being seasoned and demanding travelers, we know a well run resort when we see one.
From the turn down service, electronic drapes, and lovely bathroom we could not ask for a better experience. Their staff even sent a complimentary bottle of champagne (it was an anniversary) to our grateful surprise. WOW ! The Broadmoor is rated the best in Colorado Springs because it is, and of course you do pay a premium price for this type of service and amenities. It is worth the money and we WILL return as soon as we can fit it in. From a native and local, thank you to the owner Stephen Bartolin, Jr.
Although the Broadmoor West complex is under renovation, it is a complete separate complex across the lake from the historic and original “ Broadmoor Main” area. There was no impact to our experience during our stay which was on a Friday night.
Christmas at the Broadmoor is an experience in its self and we highly recommend that you make this a “must-do” resort to visit. No matter what time of year, there are multiple activities to enjoy. With world renowned golf courses, a lake and pools, top rated spa, and mountains at your door step there is no shortage of things to do here. There are also a large range of restaurants and lounges ranging for the elegant Penrose Room to the fun and popular Golden Bee. No, this is not a commercial, just a local proud and happy to have experienced ,”The Broadmoor”.

Room Tip: A lake view room is wonderful and uppper floor is also great.
