“Excellent service in a classic hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

You just can go wrong with The Broadmoor. This is my second visit and it is as wonderful as I remembered. Impeccable service and staff. Beautiful location and elegant accommodates. The rooms and furnishings are a bit tired but it all adds up to a classy shabby chic. Wonderful spa!

This resort is consistent in their commitment to excellence in lodging, dining, and the total resort and spa experience. Many dining venues and one does not need to leave the resort to experience a great variety of food preparations and styles.

From check-in to check-out, my husband and I had an amazing time. It was our 5th year anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. The grounds, the shopping, the food, and atmosphere here are one-of-a-kind. We were fortunate enough to stay the same weekend they opened Play and re-opened The Golden Bee tavern. Spending quite a bit of time at both establishments, we sang and played the night away. Enough cannot be said about how friendly the staff was or how accomodating they are. We even made friends with some of the other nice guests and split a bowling lane with them. It was worth every penny!

We have stayed in many great places around the world but none can compete with the Broadmoor. The rooms are beautifully appointed. We had a fountain view that was just great. The staff is unbelievably trained and helpful. One cannot pass staff without being greeted with a smile. The food is excellent. The spa is unsurpassed for service and the "waiting room" for spa service are overlooking the golf course and so relaxing it is hard to leave it for a massage.
The spa services are wonderful and the staff in the spa, as in all other parts of the complex are friendly and helpful. Yes, everything at the Broadmoor is expensive but it cannot be beat for a luxury vacation.

Nestled in a beautiful residential community, about 20-minutes from the Colorado Springs airport, is the Broadmoor. This five-star resort has stellar service, a wonderful location close to major attractions and beautiful guest rooms. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated and quite spacious. Even those that do not over look the lake are very pretty. When you first take the escalator up from the hotel lobby to the second level -- you'll find yourself gaping at the lake/mountain view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There are comfy sofas and chairs to sit in and enjoy the scenery. You can also do this from the adjacent tavern. In the evening they light an outdoor fire pit so you can sit in the tavern, beside the lake, and enjoy the views. You'll be tempted by the hotel shops -- so leave your wallets/purses in the room! The only reason I am not giving a 5-star review is that the food for the business event I was at was only fair. Food in the main restaurants, after my conference stay, was excellent.
