“Enjoyed our stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

We stayed here during Spring Break. It was myself, my husband and our 8 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and had a view from the window of the mountains. With four of us taking a shower every single day I worried the hot water wouldnt last but to my suprise it did. My favorite part of this hotel was the breakfast. Each morning we woke up to go have breakfast in the lobby. They had so many selections to choose from which was wonderful for my picky kiddos. I loved the make your own waffle section. My husband loved the chef prepared omlet section. We stayed here while we were searching for a location to relocate from in a couple of years. The front desk people were helpful in suggesting placed to look at. We will be staying here again when we go back.

Friendly staff and great breakfast buffet! Upon arrival we recieved a complimentary room upgrade. Will stay here again and again when visiting the springs! They always have specials on the rooms so keep an eye on that. Close to many restaurants and USAFA south gate.

Room was clean, clean shower and comfortable bed....didn't need much more. The lobby was large and very appealing. LOVED the fire pit and couches, the giant TV in front of the bar so the kids can have fun while the adults have a cocktail. REALLY appreciate the great group rate since we were there on a long weekend volleyball tournament . Patrick at the awesome made to order omelette bar was the cherry! Great overall!

Room Tip: Stay closer to lobby area

my family and I have been coming to this hotel for years. This time around I would have to rate the customer service received as pretty awful. The swimming pool was warmer than the hot tub. When numerous staff was asked and complained to by us and other guest, we were always reassured that maintenance was notified or that they would turn it up. Well maintenance was never notified until another patron found maintenance ourselves and maintenance took care of it right away and claimed they were never told. Richard refused to give us an extra pillow and also said he would set us up for a wake up call that we never received. The pool is extremely chlorinated making for your eyes to burn quickly. The food was gross as well. A tip to the hotel is that all the benefits included with the stay of the hotel.. i.e. the food vouchers or swimming, none of it matters if there is no customer service.

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view

Hotel overall was really nice and clean. However, the walls are paper thin! We could hear everything in the rooms surrounding us and in the hallways. Breakfast was great with a large selection of foods and beverages. It is a hotel that really has some nice touches for kids!

I had a reservation for a standard room on January 18th for myself and my two young children. I called the morning of my stay and upgraded to the Family Suite and asked if we could check in early. I was given all the information, rate increase and such and told I could check in at noon. Upon arriving, front desk knew nothing of changes and told me they would put a rush on room. Didnt get checked in until 2 o'clock. No elevator to room. Had to carry luggage up stairs. Rooms are old and shabby. View outside both windows was awful. Heaters struggled and ran constantly throughout the night to warm room, When we returned to our room, we were shocked to find a lizard, yes thats right, a lizard at the base of our bed!! My 5 year old was spooked and didnt want to come down off the bed for the rest of the night. They came and retrieved the lizard, didnt have a room to switch us to and we were stuck. Called a few local properties and they were booked. Struggled getting my youngest to relax and fall asleep. The business ceneter has 3 computers but only one really works and The Hot Tub struggles just to stay warm. After advising the owner of the situation upon checkout using email, he offered his apologies and 20 bucks. Are you kidding me? I paid over 100 bucks for this after his cond "consideration" What a ripoff!! Never again for this family...

The bed was comfy, the room was cool (temp), the omelet station was fabulous, free with-fi was reliable, and the price was right! It was also very convenient and close to a lot. It is older and there are things that need updating (peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, the outside sign), but that didn't impact the value of our stay.
