This hotel had everything we could want. We booked a two room suite. King bedroom had sleep number bed (very nice) large TV ,
little soaps and shampoos and a nice shower. With fan and heat lamp.
Seperate living room also had a TV ,payper view, pull out couch with ample bedding and pillows!! Micro. lttle fridge and coffee maker and sink.
They gave us 2 free drink tickets a piece. Which we used at the very relaxing lounge.
We also received free breakfast buffet tickets, that we used. The breakfast had a large asst. of hot and cold items..very good.
We orded room service for dinner no complaints on that either.

When you pull into the hotel there is a large jet beside the building that has been converted into a rest. It looks interesting but we were to tired to venture out to try it.

Very clean, modern hotel. nice employees. Easy to find.

I will stay here in the future.

Happy Trails.

“Very Happy with the Radisson”

We stayed 2 nights in early August and liked everything about the hotel. It was a busy weekend in Colorado Springs with the US Senior Open Golf Championship in town, so I was fortunate to get the room on Priceline for $65 a night.

The service was solid and the people friendly. There are lots of perks at this hotel: free internet, refrig and microwave in the room, and no charge for the breakfast buffet in the morning. The hostess looked up our room and said we were eligible for the buffet. That was sweet!

The room was clean and good size. The Sleep Number beds were plenty comfortable. The hotel was full our first night and we heard little noise when sleeping.

This Radisson has nice courtyard including the pool area, outdoor seating deck and hot tub. The exercise room is connected to the pool and has a good variety of cardio equipment. Everything was well maintained.

I think it's a little deceiving when reading this is an "airport hotel". We found the location to be adequate for the major attractions in town, not just the airport. It's only a few minutes off I-25 when taking US 24 right to the hotel. As far as the airport goes, I only heard one jet in my 2 days (granted, we didn't spend much time at the hotel).

“They have problems honoring Priceline customer requests”

We booked this location for two nights using Priceline, and we specified a king room with no smoking.

But what we were given was a room with two doubles, told that they were booked and that this is the kind of room they reserve for Priceline customers anyway.

They did, however, move our luggage into a nicer king room for the second night of our stay after we raised issue with their booking procedures. They also provided us with a pass for complimentary access to the breakfast buffet for one morning.

The rooms themselves were not too bad. The king room, however, was the location with the nicer, oversized Select Comfort bed. The overall fit and finish of the room was pretty standard; clean and relatively quiet.

The overall appearance of the property itself is dated. It appears as though this was some other brand that was retrofitted to be a Radisson. They do offer free parking and free, easy-to-use wireless Internet access.

The food on the bar was hot and edible, but not spectacular. It was sort of bland and not particularly special. The kitchen took more than 30 minutes to cook a burger we ordered one night, and it arrived still pink in places even though we ordered it well-done.

And this Radisson is somewhat removed from the expressway. It is several miles and many traffic lights from I-25, so run any errands you need to accomplish on your way to the hotel.

I booked through Priceline, getting the room for $65/night.

I enjoyed most aspects of the hotel.

The negatives:

* The Saturday morning staff didn't seem remotely interested in the customers.

* My room smelled musty. It was spotless, but I don't think they had circulated the air for a while. I ran the A/C for a while, and the smell seemed to clear out.

* The Select Comfort bed was uncomfortable regardless of setting.

* The TV was 19", old, and blurry.

Now for the positives:

* The Friday night shift couldn't do enough to help. They are cice people and extremely helpful.

* The room I had was huge (Las Vegas huge), and included a couch, queen Anne chair and ottoman, coffee table, and work desk with office chair.

* The handicap-accessible accommodations are welcomed in my situation. The shower is a small step up, for those who need it.

* The in-room coffee, microwave, and refrigerator are great, though they didn't include decaf.

* The in-room bottled water & WiFi are free.

* The room includes an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer.

* The bathing products are higher-end, which was a surprise.

* The local phone calls are free to a point.

* The hotel offers discounts to area restaurants.

The hotel is a bit out of the way, but that's okay with me because it generally means a hotel is more quiet. The lobby is bright and comfortable. The business center is free to use. And the hotel furnishes guests with free newspapers: USA Today (M - F) and The Gazette (local daily, M - Su).

I did not use the hotel's restaurant or bar.

A very pleasant stay overall. I don't think you can do better for the price. But be sure to book through Priceline. I started bidding on a 3-star hotel for $45 and had it at $65. Not bad.

“Satisfactory Airport Hotel. Needs improvement”

If you happen to be flying into Colorado Jet Center this hotel is convenient and the FBO rate is satisfactory. Aside from those two benefits, this hotel is nothing to write home about.

It appears to be a recently renovated hotel, but you can tell it is old just walking down the hallways. Televisions have not been upgraded to flat screen yet. Toll-free calls are 10 cents per minute after 60 minutes. (not that i'm going to make a phonecall that long, but come on... seriously?)

Try Solos Restaurant next door. Very cool.
