“Peaceful atrium”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014

Embassy Suites Colorado Springs: peaceful atrium lobby with many mature shrubs and trees. A gas fireplace offered a pleasant sitting area. Very helpful desk staff. Excellent cook-to-order breakfast. Only two computers in business office. Another enjoyable stay at an Embassy suites.

Stayed here for three nights in early May with my wife and young son. Loved the nightly managers reception with free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was good but not great but within my expectations for a hotel breakfast. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. I never heard our neighbors even though I know the adjacent rooms were occupied. I read some of the reviews before we traveled here that mentioned the hotel being older than some of the competing hotels but I found it to be in really good shape and well maintained. Other hotels in the area are about the same price but here you get a two room suite which provides a lot more room than a standard hotel room. The pool and hot tub are not very big so it was pretty crowded most of the time but I have seen this even at very expensive hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

Embassy Suites area always good. Nice breakfast every day. Great drinks in the evening. Just a few short miles from Garden of the Gods, Manitou, Old Colorado Spgs. I will say we got a Kind size bed that wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked.

Room Tip: Room with a view…..If you decide to get a room with a few, make sure you are on the 3 or 4th floor...

We've stayed at this particular hotel about 20 years ago, and actually weren't planning on staying at it this time (we stayed at the Academy Hotel for 1 night only due to the noise of their AC). This hotel is a very nice one. Easy access from the I-25. Not a ton of local restaurants, but they're all within 10 minutes driving time. The rooms are still very nice. Furniture is a bit dated now, but still very adequate. Staff here is all friendly and accommodating.

Only issue we noticed was that the cooks at breakfast weren't treating the lady who was busing tables very nicely. They were treating her kinda rudely. Management needs to look into this one (not a hotel problem... just a staff problem).

Beds are very comfy, towels/linens were very good. Amenities in the bathroom were very good. Not a lot I'd change. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: The best rooms are at the end of the halls because you wouldn't have anyone constantly walking p...

I just love Embassy Suites! This hotel in Colorado Springs was by far the nicest we have stayed in anywhere for the price. The breakfast, the happy hour and the over-all experience are really wonderful memories. What a great place to celebrate a 30th anniversary!

Flying from Phoenix to Denver for graduation for my Granddaughter from Colorado Pueblo University we chose to stay in Colorado Springs at the Embassy Suites. The front desk staff was excellent and personable with our registration of the 10 rooms that was reserved. The inside corridor has an beautiful view ,rooms clean and spacious, staff very friendly. The breakfast was great and happy hour served its purpose. Other local dining area in walking distance. A short five minute drive will get you to any other store you need, For shoppers mall is with that drive.

We are trying to find an enjoyable route from Scottsdale to Topeka Ks. We finally decided to go up through Santa Fe and into Colorado Springs. This Hotel is wonderful. and Kudos to Misty Kaumatule for treating two weary travelers so kindly upon check in. We were exhausted and our vehicle contained our valuable possessions. Misty and the staff bent over backwards to accomodate us and our little dog. The rooms are wonderful. Everything was perfect. We will see you next time Misty and associates!!

Room Tip: Ask for a bottom floor room.
