“"pool"?”

The web-site said this hotel had a pool. It should have said "mini-pool". It was about 12 x 12 and did not even have a shallow end. If you are sharing the pool with any other guests it would be very uncomfortable! The morning breakfast was definitely an expanded continental - the waffles were good. However, the breakfast bar was not kept tidy (frosted flakes were everywhere!) and the food not restocked quickly enough. The rooms were nice & clean, comfy beds & pillows.

This is a great Comfort Inn in Colorado Springs. Right off 1-25. Very close to UCC Springs. Usual major chain restaurants within 3 minute drive. No need to get back on freeway.
Breakfast was plentiful, nothing ran out.

Problems: noisy AC.

Kudos to a superb and personable front desk staff.

I had hoped this hotel would be comfortable, clean, and adequete lodging for a 3 night stay. When I got to my room, I found the toilet seat was dirty. Then I heard a dripping sound, and found that the sink drain was leaking. I stayed anyway. The bed was not very comfortable, the pillows were hard and flat; My room was facing the highway, and I could hear traffic all night. The continental breakfast was one of the poorest I have seen. I checked out after my first night and finished my stay elsewhere.

“One Of The Friendlist”

Comfort Inn North

Dec 31, 2006

My grandparents and I decided to take a vacation and get away from the heat. We live in Texas and we never get snow! We left Texas and traveled through New Mexico and stayed a few days and then we came to Colorado. I booked my hotel through the internet and was very pleased of the choice I made. When I arrived in Colorado Springs after a very long drive, they were very nice and very friendly. They gave us an even better deal than the internet. Our room was everything that I expected it to be and more. They have continental breakfast every morning until 9 and we used it every morning we were here. They also have wireless internet and that really came in handy since there wasnt much to do because of all the snow. We ended up staying here longer than expected because of the snow but we were very pleased with everything. If you are looking for somewhere to stay while you are on vacation and you dont want to pay much, I really recommend for you to try Comfort Inn North!

“Not so good...”

We arrived at night. The lobby was somewhat dark, not the usual lit-up appearance of most hotel lobbies. The lobby also smelled strongly of cleaning detergents. Ugh! The carpet in our room needed stretching to tighten it up. Overall, the place had the dingy feel of a cheap motel. The breakfast room was very crowded with people almost tripping over one another. I just didn't like the feel of the place at all.
