“Perfect Location & Lovely Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

This is a great Inn in the perfect location. Our hosts were wonderful, accommodations lovely with all the amenities and our whole experience enjoyable. The other guests were so friendly, articulate and interesting that it was fun just sharing some casual conversation over the fine wine and craft beer provided. Located in the heart of Old Colorado City - we will be back!

Wow what an amazing place! We were only here for one night but wish it could have been longer! Stayed in the African Violet room which is just beautiful The hot tub on the balcony was wonderful for a soak after a long day of hiking around the mountains. Breakfast here is amazing, probably the best breakfast I've had since going gluten free - Kim and Dave are fantastic at accommodating dietary requirements and the food is excellent. We can also recommend the 100% gluten free tapas restaurant just around the corner (TAPAteria) where the dinner was fantastic. Kim and Dave are lovely and there are lots of little touches in this B&B that will ensure you have the very best of stays. You will be made to feel very special and welcome as guests in this wonderful place. Hope we can return soon!

Room Tip: We pushed the boat out and went for a room with a hot tub on the balcony - total luxury!

This a wonderful B&B right in the heart of Old Town Colorado Springs. The owners go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The location can't be beat- fabulous restaurants and good shopping within a two minute walk. I spent four days at the B&B with my daughters and we all agreed it was the best part of our week long trip. Don't miss the breakfast prepared by one of the owners, Dave. It is truly delicious!

This is a fantastic location for exploring the great attractions in the area, such as Pike's Peak and the Royal Gorge, but that is actually the lesser feature. The greater is how comfortable it is to be there, to relax and read or access the internet in the library and to talk to Kim and Dave and the other guests. And then there are the wonderful breakfasts, the view of Pike's Peak out the front, walks to a variety of neat restaurants and stores, including a can't-walk-by-without-stopping-in creamery. We'll return for our next trip to the area.

Room Tip: We liked the view from a second floor room in the front.

We have been staying at Old Town Guest House since it first opened and have never been disappointed. There are new owners, Kim and Dave Wolinski, and they are carrying on the traditions that have been in place from the beginning.

It is a boutique B&B inn with 8 unique guest rooms with private balconies and views of Pike’s Peak and Garden of the Gods. This is a Select Registry Hotel, so one knows it will be superior. Kim did say they wanted to make a few changes, such as new paint and carpeting. We stayed in the Victorian Rose Room with a hot tub on the deck overlooking Pike’s Peak. There is every amenity supplied. The rooms are clean, decorated nicely, and quiet.

We enjoyed visiting with the other guests at the coctail hour and again at breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic: Orange Chunks with Brown Sugar; Coffee; Orange Juice and Mango Juice; Egg Strata; Sausage Patty; Potatoes; Blueberry Muffins.

We highly recommend this unique bed and breakfast!

We spent a two nights at the Old Town Guest House in Colorado Springs and really enjoyed it. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We were within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and a quick drive away from area attractions. Breakfast was delicious and served in a most beautiful setting. We also enjoyed the basement pinball machine and pool table. Another great feature of the inn is the elevator which helped getting luggage to and from the room. The innkeepers, Kim and Dave, made us feel so welcomed and were helpful with directions and information. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Book early. The room we wanted was already booked by the time we made reservations.

We loved our stay here! Our two day reservation became three days when we saw how many attractions in the area and how close Old Town Guesthouse was to all of them. We stayed in the Columbine Room, fitted out in a Colorado theme with ski paraphernalia. Our room was comfortable, and I really appreciated taking having two sinks. On the practical side, the hotel has an elevator and sound proofing. I heard nothing from the other guests. Our balcony had a lovely view of Pikes Peak and was cozy for morning coffee and a book. We were in close proximity to all of the major attractions in the area, as well as many yummy restaurants within walking distance in Old Colorado City. Mountain Shadows Restaurant, Tapateria, and Dat's Italian were all just a few blocks away.

Intangibles are what made our stay so special: the kindness of our hosts, Kim and Dave, the excellent breakfast they provided, and the lovely room where we all gathered for wine and snacks in the afternoon. Kim and Dave made everyone feel so welcome, and all the guests got to know each other during breakfast and over wine. I felt like an honored guest of old friends whom I hadn't seen in years. I would definitely return and recommend the hotel to others.

Thank you Kim & Dave for making our time in Colorado Springs so memorable!

Ona and Scott

Room Tip: I only saw our room, but I suspect they are all as cozy and charming.
