“Great food, service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

We were here with 3 picky teenagers whose tastes in food run on the snobbish side. The prices are on the high end so we choose the ala carte menu. We ordered 5 different dishes, 2 appetizers, and 3 desserts and everything was delicious, fresh, and very unique. Even the coffee was great. We actually walked out of there with 3 lbs of coffee beans to bring home. If we pass thru Colorado Springs again we will definitely be back. The service was great and ambiance was perfect.

“A Memorable Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

First, this restaurant is listed in the wrong category. It is not Mexican/Southwest. There are only 2 "Mexican" items on the menu (chips and tacos). I would categorize Margarita's as American Eclectic. We sat outside and chose the 3-course meal with the wine flights. She had the yellow tail jack. I had the rib eye. Both were wonderful.I started with the duck wantons and then the salad. She has the fried green tomatoes and salad. The wine pairings were great. Our waitress offered a free desert because her colleague failed to deliver our entree wines with the entrees. Great recovery from a small service error.

The food and service were great, but the icing on the cake was the entertainment. The 3-person combo transported us to Buenos Aires. It was a great evening and a memorable meal.

“margarita at pine creek”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Lovely area and view. Sit outside in the summer. Great food sourced from local farms. Dinner and a movie on Friday night's is really fun. Movie is shown outside. Always has bands for entertainment. Four or five course dinner choices. Vegetarian choices included. Best made from scratch desserts. Can also wine pair your dinner choices.

“Exotic cuisine and environment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

Several years ago when I lived in Colorado Springs, I dined here regularly. On this trip to the Springs, my wife and I enjoyed a three course fixed price dinner--a jerked pork salad, a crab and asparagus soup, and Scottish salmon with an excellent (modestly priced) Pinot Grigio. Dessert was a baked German chocolate treat. The restaurant has an intimate seating arrangement, and the patio, surrounded by trees, has a view of Pike's Peak. Just off the Woodman exit from I-25, the location surprisingly creates the illusion of being somewhere in the foothills. Ample parking.

“Had a wonderful visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

We have been dining here since the late 1980's, never a bad experience. We no longer live in the CS area anymore but promised ourselves when we got back and time permitted this was tops on our list of things to do. Pulling up in the driveway was like seeing an old friend. We had a wonderful server, the deco with its cosy nook seats hasn't changed. We had the 5 course dinner, each course tastier than the last and reasonably priced. The only small complaint was listening to the sound of the band downstairs drowning out the nice classical soundtrack playing upstairs. We will be back.
