My husband and I chose to try this place out because of the great reviews it had online. We were extremely disappointed. The only thing that made it "worth it" were our big mugs of Kirin beer (which we think is responsible for the great reviews) and our wonderful server.
Here is what went wrong for us:
1- The table we sat at was in a bad spot, and it was dirty. There were spots of soy sauce on the table cloth
2- Instead of giving each of us a main menu, we only got one and had to keep passing it back and forth until we ordered
3 - My husband ordered the spicy honey chicken....he did not get his meal until I was almost done eating my meal. It tasted HORRIBLE...they pretty much just dumped sweet thai chili sauce on it, so much that the chicken was swimming in it. He could only eat 4 or 5 pieces of it before it made him sick. We cook with that sauce at home and could have made a more tasty, filling meal.
4 - They had musicians performing jazz type music and singing in French and Spanish...while the musicians were not bad, it threw us off being this was an Asian restaurant.
5 - So for their Hawaiian Poke (which pretty much was mostly onion), 2 generous servings of beer, and my tempura meal...it cost us $43!!! That was with my husband's chicken meal not charged....OVERPRICED!
Once is enough...in fact, eating there once was maybe too much. Not going back there again and would not recommend this place to anyone.
