“Half price Mondays”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012 via mobile

We went on Monday for lunch when they do half price sushi and rolls. The rolls are huge and well presented, like art on your plate. Decent flavor, lots of choices. I have read other reviews that the service here was less than stellar but I have to say it was fantastic the day we were there. A pretty good choice for sushi in downtown Colorado springs.

“If you like Japanese food, don't come here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

We came here for a nice Japanese dinner, not just sushi, and were hugely dissapointed. Go elsewhere if you want Japanese. The food was cold and downright unpleasant. The sushi wasn't anything special. Our server was kind however.

“Big Rolls, but Little Flavor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

The rolls that I got (Boston, Hawaii, Cowboy) were huge! There were 8 pieces that were all 2 inches around. However, the more I ate, the more wasabi that I used. Flavor was bland, but I'm just glad that I got 20% off my order.

“Yummy in my Tummy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2012

Love the sushi here! I think I have to agree with another reviewer when they said it was the best sushi this far inland. I definitely recommend trying this place!

“Just Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

We didn't experience the service issues described by other reviewers; we sat at the sushi bar, and service was prompt and attentive. But.....the food was only mediocre. Good house salad, and fairly good salmon and yellowtail, but the shrimp and clam were tired and tasted old. The rolls used shrimp and crab that had clearly been fried hours prior, and were cold and mushy. This was their second chance. There won't be a third; the positives didn't outweigh the negatives. Too bad; I sure wish there was good, reliable sushi downtown.
