I have never had a bad experience in this restaurant. I'm not able to visit as much as I would like.

“The Best Restaurant on the North Side of Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

We love to meet friends at Marigolds. The food is almost always top notch and so is the staff. It is close to home for us and a logical choice, but it is also close to many fine hotels for travelers. It is always very crowded at lunch and dinner, a testament to it's fine reputation. In an economic environment where so many restuarants have failed or failed to keep up on their high quality, Marigolds has maintained it's place at the top of the pile. The only downside is the noise level. At a table of six, there is no way to converse with those on the opposite side of a round table.

“One of My Favorites!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

I meet my girlfriends there several times a year and have never been disappointed. The lunches are fabulous. After lunch, we usually order a freshly made pastry for desert. I have also been there for group luncheons and they were very attentive to our needs and always give us a private table away from the other tables. I have not tried a dinner there but I'm sure they would be delicious also.

“Wish it were closer to our Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Unfortunately Marigold's is on the opposite side of the city from our home. Or, perhaps it's a good thing as far as out waistlines are concerned. I would call it an upper scale family restaurant. The menu is wide ranging from soups and sandwiches to full dinners. Everything we've ever had there was prepared to perfection. The desserts are outstanding and at the front they have a bakery counter in case you didn't save room for dessert or you just want some baked goods to enjoy at home. Aside from the food, the service has always been outstanding as well.

“unbelievable desserts!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

If you love delicious pastries, pies and cakes, Marigold's is the place for you! The lunch food is very good, but the desserts are to die for! My favorite is the strawberry cake, but there are many more to choose from.
