“Awesome Place for 16 Years”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

I ate here last night and was not disappointed. We first ate here in 1997. Every time we return to The Springs we make a return trip. Every time we have a perfect experience. Food and service are impeccable. Broad menu selection in food and drink. It is a perineal favorite. Put this on your "must eat at" list.

“Superior Food and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Ate here with a group of 21 Air Force reunion attendees and was blown away by the quality of the service and the food. We had reservations and when we arrived the monster table was set up to take care of the whole group. Each of us ordered from the menu and everyone had something different. My lamb loin was to die for and my wife's walleye was outstanding. A nice selection of wines was available by the glass and most of us indulged. Don't know how he did it but our server kept all of the orders straight, saw to it that the wine glasses were refilled and then gave us eleven checks for each couple's fare. There was an automatic 18% service charge for this large a group, but the service was so outstanding that I increased that. If you want great food, you need to try this place.

“Don't let the name fool you.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

While visiting Colorado Springs we were looking for a nice place to eat. A "Cafe" was not what we had in mind, but the reviews on TripAdvisor were so good we took a chance. And we're glad we did! This is a white tablecloth restaurant with knowledgable and helpful servers and excellent food. You'll feel comfortable there whether you a wearing a suit or shorts. Appetizers were excellent (we particularly liked the mussels and clams) as were the entrees. Wine list was not bad and fairly reasonable. Surprisingly the only thing we didn't think was first rate were the deserts, but perhaps we just made a bad choice.

This place is popular (and rightfully so), so make a reservation.

Kudos to the owners and staff.

“A Great Find and Good Food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

We were not familiar with the area and went to Marigold for dinner because it was a short drive from our hotel. We were glad we did! The appetizers and specials were excellent and service was prompt and polite. The beet salad and escargot dishes were especially good.

Food is excellent. Seafood choices are always fresh, which is unique in Colorado. They are known for their delectable desserts. A definite bucket list choice for food lovers living in or visiting Colorado Springs.
