“Enjoyed our stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Location was easy to get to and close to many eating establishments (close enough that you can walk). Bed was a queen but it seemed smaller than our bed at home, but it was comfortable. Internet connection was super. We ate breakfast but I am not a fan of the folded over egg with some sort of cheese in the middle. It was cold (blah). Other than that I don't have anything negative to say.

Room Tip: Ask for an odd number room, you get a mountain view.

Brittll, thank you for your review of our Staybridge Suites Colorado Springs! It was great to welcome you both, and we're glad you enjoyed our proximity to dining and the fast internet. I'm so sorry our omelet was not warm enough, we have had maintenance check out the warmer, thank you for telling us about that. Good tip on the mountain view-gotta love that! We hope to see you both again.

This was my first time in a staybridge suites and loved it! The staff was excellent always looking to provide above average service. The rooms are clean and nicely configured and the hotel amenities are better than any other in its class.

Room Tip: Ant of the suites are nicely laid out and comfortable.

We have stayed here twice before in the past five years. They have done some refurbishing since our last stay. We spent two nights this time. Once again, the staff was excellent and very friendly. The breakfasts were amazing. The room was clean. We were given a complimentary upgrade from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom suite because of our platinum status in the IHG Rewards Club. We enjoyed the mountain views, particularly the sunsets. We plan to be back in September.

I recently stayed here on a business trip for a week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has recently been rennovated and verynice and clean. The food was also a nice perk as I wasn't expecting free dinner each night! I would definetly stay here again next time I have to travel to the Springs.

We have relatives in Colorado Springs and make occasional trips to the front range to visit. We always stay in northern Colorado Springs in a cluster of motels immediately off the Valley Highway. There is Holiday Inn Express, Hampton, Embassy, Staybridge and a few others. Since we traveled with our Daughter's family we opted for the Staybridge because of the suite options. The extended stay facility has been updated since our last stay. The staff is extremely helpful from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was a exceptional since having young grand children can often pose a challenge finding something they will eat. As noted in the past, our only observation keeping this rating at very good is the small swimming pool that services such a large motel. It is only outdoors to boot so don't plan on swimming in the winter. We will definitely continue to stay here or the Holiday Inn Express when visiting Colorado Springs. Kudos to management and all the staff that make this a pleasurable stay.

RtripKearney, thank you for your honest review of our Staybridge Suites Colorado Springs! We are glad you all enjoyed your stay. That's great that your entire family enjoyed our breakfast, we also have gluten free options and healthy options like fresh cut tomatoes and red onions for your eggs. I also wanted to mention that we have an agreement with the Holiday Inn Express next door for guests to use their indoor heated pool and hot tub when ours is closed in the colder months, or if it rains! Thank you for choosing our hotel, we hope too see you and your family again!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

Our family of 5 spent two (2) nights at this hotel on July 11th and 12th. We reserved a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Unit. 1 Bedroom had 1Q bed and a bathroom, the other bedroom had 2Q beds and a bathroom. The bedrooms were separated by a small living and kitchen area; the sofa in the living area unfolded into a sofa bed. The room looked like parts of it were recently updated; i.e. new large flatscreen TVs, new kitchen cabinets and backsplashes, new bedding, and some other miscellaneous updates. All of the employees we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. The 'free' breakfast each morning was adequate, and the views from the hotel (to the west) were spectacular.

However, there were little things about the property and our room that bothered me and had me scratching my head; the biggest being the lack of a covered drop off / luggage unloading area at the front of the hotel. Essentially at the front of the hotel was 1 row of parking up against the building, an aisle roughly 24' wide --- and that's it. If you travel past the front of the hotel down the aisle, the parking 'lot' comes to a dead end. There is more parking around the back of the hotel, but the poor layout and circulation of the property is mind - boggling. Either Staybridge took over the space from another hotel brand, or if they build the site from scratch, the civil engineer who did the site layout needs to be fired.

Nice and convenient to the hotel, right across the parking lot, is a gas station with C Store, and a few restaurants such as Outback Steakhouse and TGI Fridays. Very easy access to I-25 from the hotel.

If in the area again, we would consider staying here again.

Wahoo_bMedina, thank you for taking the time to review our Staybridge Suites Colorado Springs, it was our pleasure serving your family during your stay. Glad you enjoyed our upgrades and the friendly staff. We have a great hot buffet breakfast complete with waffles, omelets with fresh cut veggie toppings, fresh cut fruit(not the bucketed kinds you'll find at most hotels), bacon, sausage, pastries, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, and whole fruits- all complimentary.

Since we are on a hill and we border Monument Creek, the layout of the parking is kind of funky, but we always make sure guests know that we have ample parking on the West side of our hotel. We also have an advantage in that we are far enough off the main road that it is nice and quiet here!

Thanks for choosing us! We can't wait to see you all again!
