Our family of 5 spent two (2) nights at this hotel on July 11th and 12th. We reserved a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Unit. 1 Bedroom had 1Q bed and a bathroom, the other bedroom had 2Q beds and a bathroom. The bedrooms were separated by a small living and kitchen area; the sofa in the living area unfolded into a sofa bed. The room looked like parts of it were recently updated; i.e. new large flatscreen TVs, new kitchen cabinets and backsplashes, new bedding, and some other miscellaneous updates. All of the employees we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. The 'free' breakfast each morning was adequate, and the views from the hotel (to the west) were spectacular.
However, there were little things about the property and our room that bothered me and had me scratching my head; the biggest being the lack of a covered drop off / luggage unloading area at the front of the hotel. Essentially at the front of the hotel was 1 row of parking up against the building, an aisle roughly 24' wide --- and that's it. If you travel past the front of the hotel down the aisle, the parking 'lot' comes to a dead end. There is more parking around the back of the hotel, but the poor layout and circulation of the property is mind - boggling. Either Staybridge took over the space from another hotel brand, or if they build the site from scratch, the civil engineer who did the site layout needs to be fired.
Nice and convenient to the hotel, right across the parking lot, is a gas station with C Store, and a few restaurants such as Outback Steakhouse and TGI Fridays. Very easy access to I-25 from the hotel.
If in the area again, we would consider staying here again.
