“Great staff and clean hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2005

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. At check in, the hotel staff discovered that they put my family of five in a room with one bed. They quickly took care of it by offering us two rooms. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are somewhat spacious. It was quiet. The only complaint that we had was the breakfast. The eggs were not real and had a strange lemon taste to them. There were a couple of options that were somewhat ok if you didn't want any protein. With breakfast being our only complaint, this isn't a bad place to stay.

This is a new, very clean suite type hotel. Our room had 2 double beds, a kitchenette, couch, reclining chair, desk, 1 tv, bath, plus a sink near the beds. We also had some homey items such as a laundry basket, ironing board, and regular closet. You could stay here for weeks.

I wish it had 2 rooms but there is a wall that extends half way across between the beds and recliner. Our kids were able to fall asleep while we watched the news.

Good breakfast in the am, including omelets, waffles and all the standards. Cookies in the afternoon. Best coffee we had in all our Colorado hotels. A small store is accessible with your room key in case you want a late night snack or need a drug store type item.

A very curitious staff was always willing to answer questions and give honest answers.

The pool and hot tub are clean.

We paid $100 which I think is very reasonable for this location. There is a Walgreens, grocery, and several food places nearby. Applebees is 1 mile down I-25 and loads of others are about 2-3 miles away.

Some people make this out as an industrial area but there are many homes just up the road off I-25 and the Garden of the Gods and Flying W Ranch are 5 minutes away. This is a great central locations very close to I-25. We have enjoyed our stay here and it's location.

We chose the Bradford after reading the reviews from this site and I must thank everyone who recommended this hotel. We stayed on the third floor and had a lovely view of the mountains. The room itself was neat and clean and the best feature for my family of four was the kitchenette which had a full size refrigerator that came in handy for storing leftovers, drinks, and snacks. My husband and I also enjoyed having a separate bedroom with our own tv, so no fighting on what to watch with our children and for $89 per night, it was a steal.

The morning complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise with a daily variety of eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, and pancakes along with cereal, pastries and an assortment of bread choices. We also enjoyed the manager's reception on Wednesday's from 5-7 pm which serves complimentary food, wine, beer, and soft drinks.

The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit and eat. A "must" place to eat is the Elephant Bar on North Academy. The restaurant is nicely decorated in African and Asian decor and had an exceptional menu of dishes from around the world. They also make a killer Creme Brulee for dessert that is not meant for sharing.

It's located right off I25 and is a short drive to all the tourists attractions like Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Santa's workshop, and Pikes Peak.

There are railroad tracks located next to the Bradford which has trains running day and night, but you barely hear them go by and wasn't a concern for myself or family.

We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Colorado Springs.

Stayed here for a week of meetings being held near-by. Lots of room, used the kitchen for breakfast and serveral dinners. No problems, nice tolietries in bath. Dishwasher, laundry room, even the little in house store was reasonable to get a quick snack after a day of traveling cross country. Free internet worked well.

Lots around this area, garden of the gods, pike peak, 7-falls, etc.

Nit: they could use a treadmill in their exercise room.

If you want a really quiet room ask for a inside room (no view).

Had a great overnight stay at this new-feeling hotel. Rooms were spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette, making it very comfortable for a family of 4. Complimentary continental breakfast was very appropriate, and the staff was friendly (but wasn't able to offer any suggestions for healthy-choice restaurants in the area). Technically, it's not a suite, as there isn't a full wall with door separating the bedroom area from the living area, and there's only 1 TV, so everyone needs to share. But it was a great value, and would definitely stay again in the Colorado Springs area.

I was staying for 2 nights with two of my friends and we paid $155 incl. tax and breakfast for these two nights, per room. Actually you should say per suite because they have a full kitchenette incl. a very big fridge and a dishwasher, a living room and a sleeping room plus bathroom incl. bathtop. Everything was nice and clean and the two TV had allmost 70 channels.
Thank you tripadvisor for this recommendation.

I wonder if the review dated Feb 15, 2005 actually relates to this property.
My on the road nights have numbered as many as 200 a year. Most of North America and most bordering islands. Many resorts and several Mobil Five Star. I have graded hotels for several enities.

The Colorado Springs Bradford Homesuites features a well trained staff in all departments. Consistantly friendly. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Well equipped for extended stays. Desk with two line telephone.
Free highspeed internet. A very nice included breakfast. A market room for the purchase of various items for the in room kitchen.

I have been here for week long stays about six times. In fact, I am seated in one of these home-like suites at this time. If you come to Colorado Springs for any reason this is a great place to stay.
