I have to start by saying i have never taking the time to review a hotel, but the Hyatt summerfield deserves it.. this hotel feels like home, is clean, homie, the beds are soooo confy, so clean, staff is soooo nice... DAVID DAVID DAVID super professional.i was there with my boyfriend for 2 nights and it was his 35th bday so i wanted everything perfect and thanks to this hotel my mission was accomplished. We booked this room on Priceline and spent one night here. Room was absolutely wonderful with a separate couch and desk area, small kitchen, large closet (walk-in!) and a marvelous 42 inch TV that swiveled from couch area to bed area. Most business hotels like this don't have breakfast but this one had a HUGE free breakfast. Also, they offered a free beer/wine cocktail time (5:30-7:30 I think) which included major appetizers. (We missed that, but I saw them cleaning it up.) I needed ice for a sprained ankle, and the desk clerk went out of her way to get me some along with giant ziplock bags for it. Like the Hyatt Place hotels, this one is a real winner!

The hotel and rooms were spotless, rooms are very spacious! We loved everything about this place. Great view of Pike's Peak from our room.
The only little problem that we had was the check-in on Saturday evening. They only had one person working the front desk on Saturday evening around 5:00. We had to wait in line for 1/2 hour to check-in.

We stayed here for a family vacation and enjoyed our stay. We booked a king suite, which worked well for our family. The kids enjoyed sleeping on the fold out couch in the living area, and we had a separate bedroom with TV for after they went to bed. Also, the kitchen with full size refrigerator was quite handy. The bed was very comfortable (and I'm very picky). The only negative was the complimentary breakfast. While the cold items were fine, the hot items were just not good. If you just want coffee and cereal, you should be fine though. Also, the internet service in the rooms was very slow.

I'd like to preface this review by telling you I base all my stays on reviews from this site and I recommend this location to you.
My wife and I stayed here for a simple anniversary. We hit several of the local sites and this place is near I-25. We brought along our dog and were pleased not only with their ample parking (they share a lot with a bank) but with the greenbelts as well. The room was clean, nicely furnished, roomy and comfortable. Kitchen area was large enough with provided settings for 4. The only oddities worthy of note were that the air supply comes in over the shower (at least it was for our bsmt or garden level room) and the location of the toilet causes the door to rub as you open the door. Nothing drastic, just odd.
Bedding was very comfortable and clean. My wife did comment she loved the pillows and sheets enough she wanted to keep them! All in all, a nice place, not fantastic but still very nice.
The breakfast was nice including eggs folded over cheese, corned beef hash, bagels, fresh fruit, cereal, etc.

Location is near the interstate. We loved how the room included a small kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, & dishes. Breakfast was also included & in the evening there is a social that includes more food. This would be a great place to stay with a family or for a prolonged stay (or a short one).

This is a great hotel, located near the interstate for easy travel to the Air Force Academy, airport, downtown, etc. The rooms are comfortable and have a mini-kitchen, fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, etc. The bedroom and sitting are are separated, which creates a sense of privacy--helpful if you have guests visiting at the hotel. Breakfasts in the hotel are good, and they include hot and cold options. The style of the decor is urban-trendy, which creates a vibrant energy. The pool area is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Colorado Springs.
