“Top Notch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2011

My business companions and I have stayed here 3 times now and I keep finding reasons to come back when we are in town for business. Great location near some very good restaurants and very quiet surroundings. The staff is very Hyatt meaning they are top notch and helpful to a fault. The place is impeccably clean. Received a diamond upgrade room overlooking the outdoor pool/courtyard area, very peaceful. Exercise room was clean and overlooks the pool/courtyard ground floor. The evening reception was well stocked and tasty especially the Fat Tire beer on draft! This property is becoming one of my favorites.

I stayed at this hotel with my son and husband. very clean, staff amazingly friendly and helpful. Space was nice. pool and jacuzzi fun. What got to us was the amount of free breakfast and dinner they had. dinner isn't really formal dinner but planty of finger food, pizza, salad, soup, wine bear coffee, fruits etc. for people who are traveling with large family, this is very economical. for busy business travelers, grab and go. I was just amazed at the service and the amout of food. I am quite a travelor and been to sooooo many hotels. I wouldn't say it's a fancy place, it's a typical Hyatt suit, but food service and having a clean place makes it all special. we saved so much money on food because of free breakfast and dinner... fruits, snacks not to mention free starbucks coffee every morning...

Recently visited this hotel. Asked for early check in on website, had no indication that that would not b possible, got there early and no dice. Not only could we not check in early but the lady at the desk very matter of factor reminded me that "check in isn't until 3pm". 3:00 I go back in, ROOM STILL NOT READY! finally got into room, cable half the cable stations didn't work properly, our AC malfunctioned and it got to like 85 in our room until we were able to get it fixed. Not impressed with pool, at all. Staff had an "oh well" attitude. Definitely will not stay there again!!!

I apologize that you experienced several problems during your stay with us. As we are very busy during the summer season it can be difficult to turn rooms around for guests between check out time at noon and check in at three. We do our best to try and accommodate requests for early check in as well as late check outs and at times this will impact our ability to turn the rooms for every guest before three. I also apologize that you experienced an “oh well” attitude from the staff. Each guest is important to us and we do all we can to make sure that every guest has a positive experience. Thank you for sharing your feedback. This feedback helps us to improve our service and continue to improve our service and property.

The hotel is very nice and new. What they don't tell you is about the RR track not 20 yds from the building. That's no exageration either. Starting at 2 AM a frieght train screams by every 15-20 mins or so til about 7 AM. The entire building shakes. The pool was dirty and the cable didn't work our entire stay. Management didn't really care either. They had an "oh well" attitude about it. There are good things about this hotel, but they can't overcome that train. It just blew by as I write this at 7:30 AM. Go somewhere else.

Room Tip: Ask for non RR track side.

I apologize that your stay was impacted by the train that runs very close to our hotel. We have installed sound deadening windows, and do our best to put guests who are not bothered by the noise near the train. Unfortunately for some guests these and other measures such as setting the air conditioning fan to on for white noise are not enough to help them get a comfortable sleep. I apologize that you felt that you received an “oh well” attitude from the staff. Each guest is important to us and at times it can be difficult to accommodate all needs and requests. We strive to make sure each guest has the most comfortable experience possible. I apologize that we were not able to accomplish that with your stay. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Excellent service! Morning breakfast was awesome and the evening social with beverages and hot snacks made the stay very comfortable. I had a kingsize bed with very nice accomodations, 2 TVs and a small kitchen with a standard size fridge. The hotel sits on a hill with stunning mountain views. Very family friendly.

Room Tip: I had a third floor suite. Very quiet.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and loved it. My kids were attending the AF camp there in Colorado Springs and it was the perfect home away from home with us. I was very impressed with the full size refrigerator and huge bedroom. We slept 4 comfortably and loved the evening appetizers and free sodas, beer, and wine.

We have never felt so comfortable at a hotel/motel. The room was clean and stocked with everything we needed (except for food). But even that was covered, with breakfast in the am and a light evening meal. Couldn't ask for more. All the staff was friendly, curtious, and helpful. There are amenities gallor (pool, nice laundry facility, will grocery shop for you and meny more). We stayed for 10 days and couldn't have been happier. Book early!!! We give this place a 10 star rating, they go way above and beyound.
