“Roomy and quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

When we arrived here the front receptionist was friendly and helpful. She gave us a map and on point directions. Once settled in our room their is four of us my husband, our two preteens and myself we noticed how roomy it was. It was quiet throughout the night. They did offer a breakfast with hot items as well as a great selection of fruit and cold items. The location was great for what activities we were doing. The only thing my kids didn't like was that the pool was not open yet. I thought because it is located next to 1-25 we would have noise issues but had none. Overall a good stay with easy access to 1-25.

Room Tip: If they offer queen beds that would be the better choice.

We stayed just one night on our way to see the Royal Gorge (only an hour away from CSprings!), but the room was very clean and beds were all comfortable. The hotel sits near I-25 but we didn't hear a single sound. We didn't have the breakfast, but it was offered. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby (Village Inn, BlackEyed Pea, etc). The staff was helpful, especially when we needed adjustment to our bill.

Room Tip: Rooms facing west have beautiful views of mountains!

This hotel is in a great location. Close to the airport, shopping and dining options. The hotel is very clean. The front desk is very hospitable. I stayed in room 210 and did not hear any traffic noise as mentioned by AlumniGuy. It may be that I was on another wing of the hotel with better sound proofing. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Large flat screen with inputs. This hotel is within walking distance of three different food options (walk thru the parking lot). Gas station is at entrance of hotel road. The breakfast was exceptional. You can find additional seating available on the right side of entrance as well.

If you are a "techie", you will love the Hyatt Place. this modern hotel has plenty of plugs, a great TV with lots of inputs, and Is a really comfortable room that makes great use of the space. I loved the soaps and shampoos, too. It is near to Chick Fil A, and lots of other food and gas locations.

Such a great place to stay!

What stood out most was the staff and just how super friendly and affable they were and still maintained their professionalism as a hotel staff. My room was great! It was huge for just one person but had everything I needed including a super comfortable bed!

It snowed heavily while I was there and wouldn't you know it? The staff went out a cleared off the snow from all the cars in the lot! That was very helpful.

It was a bit hard to get in and out of the hotel considering the main road there, Garden of the Gods was off the freeway and consistently busy. So I had to often manuever behind the restraunts and businesses on the street to get to a road that had a light so I could turn onto Garden of the Gods road.

Other than that - great hotel and enjoyed my stay very much!
