“This place is great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2010

The Arabica Cafe has some really good food! They have the best baba ghanoush (roasted eggplant with seasonings) I have ever had. Their Chicken hummus bowl is fabulous! I will definitely be back . They have a prime downtown CS location on Tejon St.

“Authentic Middle-East flavors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2010

Lived in the Mid-East for many years. The shawarma (especially beef), hummus and baba ganoush are good at this little cafe. A few suggstions:

1. Go for lunch - not dinner. They shut down the shawarma machines late afternoon and store cooked/sliced meat for anyone that comes in at dinner time. For fresh shawarma - stick with lunch.

2. They put hummus on their beef shawarma sandwiches. Ask them to skip the hummus, but add the traditional garlic sauce.

“A delicious taste of the Middle East”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2009

We discovered this gem on a recent visit to our former hometown of Colorado Springs. We've lived in the Middle East and loved the food, so we were pleasantly surprised to find Arabica Cafe right downtown on Tejon St. We were even more surprised by the excellent food. The hummus bowl is fantastic, and we agreed it's the best hummus we've had outside of the Middle East, and what a shocker to find it right in Colorado Springs.

The falafel was fresh and spicy, and the chicken shawarma was very good. We weren't crazy about the baba ganoush, but everything else we tried was fantastic, and so incredibly fresh! We liked this place so much that we ate there three times in the course of a week.

I sure hope Arabica Cafe makes a go of it - they're a very welcome addition to downtown Colorado Springs and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
