Spending quality time with your family is always an issue, but for $100 per night for a family suite, it shouldnt have to be, right? Think again if you want to stay here. Upon our business/personal trip, I was assured that there was internet access inside every room of the hotel, and need only bring my laptop to connect. Once we arrived onsite of the hotel, we were greeted with a stench similar to a "locker room" hotel room. The main bedroom was locked (the king sized bed inside), there were 2 towels for 5 people, and 3 pillows for 5 people. Now, call me crazy, but we all went there to sleep...so...I called the front desk, and low and behold, everything you needed, you had to find yourself. Next to that, the elevator stopped working at about 9 pm, so if you needed to go anywhere, you had to walk all the way up and down the stairs to get it, not fun with 3 kids, Ill tell you that much! When it was time for me to get on the internet, amazingly, it didn't work. I called the front desk again only to be told that in order to access the internet, I would need to "loan" a wireless device for "only" $95.00 per night. HA HA HA....so much for "free" internet connection in every room. When I asked the manager why he didn't want to stand up to his end of the bargain, he offered to call the police on our family and kick us out of the hotel. I am not a trouble maker, so we decided to leave the hotel at midnight, carrying all 3 sleeping children down 3 flights of stairs (remember the elevator?)....having to drive home for 2 hours in the middle of the night. It was needless to say NOT a good choice in hotels to stay at.....Next time, we will just stay somewhere else....Oh, by the way, did I mention that the Guest Relations of EcoNo Lodge said they couldn't help us because each Econo Lodge is independently owned....SORRY FOR US....What a waste of good money and time...DONT BOTHER, THE MANAGEMENT ARE ALL BOTTOM FEEDERS!!
