“Remarkable Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

I am delighted my wife and I chose the Garden of the Gods Resort for our anniversary destination this year. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, we received world class service with a smile. The view from our room was picture perfect (especially at night when the Kissing Camels are illuminated). The room was spacious, comfortable and luxurious, and even had an extra blanket for my wife while sitting on the patio when it cooled down in the evening. Our dining experience was outstanding, and the food tasted remarkable (they even have plenty of clearly labeled gluten free options). We had such an incredible time that we are returning for our anniversary next year. I highly recommend you to treat you and your spouse to the experience at the Garden of the Gods Resort!

We really enjoyed our two nights in the Garden of the Gods Club over July 4th. I can't praise the staff enough, the room was one of the nicest we've stayed in, the restaurants and the pool are nice, even the playground has cool features like a tent-like sun cover. And, of course, there's the view. It was so peaceful and serene. A mule deer was roaming the property. We didn't even realize there was a road beneath us. Also, my wife noted that the matresses were comfortable - it's something that bothers her on every trip.

Thank for spending the fourth with us and for your kind review of our resort! We are so pleased you enjoyed our wonderful view, accommodating staff and comfortable rooms. The wildlife that roam the property are an added bonus - we are so glad you were able to catch them. Would you be willing to send us this incredible photo you took? We would love to share it on our social pages (giving you photo credit of course)! Please email us at info@ggclub.com if you are interested. Thank you again for this lovely review and we hope to serve you in the future!

Couldn't say anything bad about this resort. My husband and I stayed 2 nights on a golf package. The views from our room were fabulous. The dining was fantasic. I did not get a chance to check out the Spa, but it looked great as well. We booked the king club room the room was spacious and a huge bathroom area with walk in closet, robes and vanity with mirror. We ordered room service one evening and they were there within minutes!. This is definatley going to be our little getaway at least twice a year. And Ryan at the front desk was always cheerful and helpful!.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. We stayed based on trip advisor reviews. The view is beautiful as all rooms face the Garden of the Gods. What I didn't read though is that there are busy roads below the units and there is traffic noise. At night we had the a/c on and didn't hear any cars. The room and bathroom isn't as "upscale" for some, but I thought it was fine.
We had the bed and breakfast package. I'm not sure it saved us any money, but the breakfasts were wonderful! We had breakfasts and dinner in the beautiful outside terrace (where you can't see the traffic!). The food was very good, and although others have complained of the service we didn't have any issues, and found everyone very friendly. We also had lunch across the street at the Kissing Camels golf course and it was very good.
The pool at the Garden of the Gods is small, but very nice.
we had lunch at the Broadmoor Hotel which was delicious(and the hotel is impressive), but my husband and I preferred the quietness of the garden of the Gods.

Room Tip: All rooms have a good view. I'd prefer the top floor for the view.

My 13 yr old son and I booked one night in a suite that the picture showed had a full couch. My son planned to sleep on the couch. We loved the picture of the kids pool and planned to swim most of the time during our stay. We arrived around 1:30, checked in, changed to our nicest clothes and went straight to lunch. The room did not have the full couch, only a loveseat, so my son ended up sleeping with me in the bed.

When we got to the restaurant, we were greeted and asked if we were there for lunch and were told to seat ourselves. No waiter ever came. After at least 15 minutes I went looking for someone. Finally found someone who got us some menus, told us she hoped we didn't have any questions because she had never even seen the menu and that the bartender would be taking care of us. Another 15 minutes later I went looking for the bartender. The food was fine once we finally got it and the views are absolutely spectacular, so we were still looking forward to our swim and stay..

We headed to the pool/spa area where were told that the kids pool is across the street in a housing development and that we'd probably best drive over. I complained because I have bad knees and since no one else was in the pool at the time, we were allowed to swim briefly, but we felt uncomfortable as if we could get kicked out any any time and chose not to stay on in the morning, but instead headed out early to continue with our trip.

Room Tip: I believe all the rooms have the fantastic view.

We apologize for the poor service you experienced in the restaurant. We have worked with our Food and Beverage staff to ensure they are on point at all times. We have also expanded basic menu training to all staff, not only our service team.

Our Recreation Center and Pool across the street is owned and operated by the Resort, as is our Kissing Camels Golf Course. We also offer a shuttle service if you do not wish to drive your car over. We apologize that this was not made clear to you upon check-in and that your son was not able to enjoy this kid-friendly area.

Again we apologize for the less than perfect service you received while dining with us and are very sorry you were not able to enjoy our family-friendly Recreation Center. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

Rooms at the Garden of the Gods Club are huge -- like studio apartment size in New York City -- although given the otherwise upscale feel to the resort, I was a little surprised at the somewhat plain bathroom finishings, especially compared to other upscale resorts. What you pay for here, however, is the spectacular view of both the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak, and the opportunity to luxuriate in these surroundings as you swim in the pool, play tennis or golf, or enjoy a meal. Overall, a very good experience, with helpful staff.

my parents were members for 30 years--we for 15 years--We stayed a night last week--Shocked to not have the doorman open the car door every time we drove up--No hostess in the casual dining to seat us--After finding our own table outside, we requested a heater-as it was a cool night--Someone wheeled one over but it was out of propane and then we were told all the rest were also out of propane--so we went inside--also terribly shocked to see guests in cargo pants and levis at dinner--The Hills would be shocked--as we were--We will not be back--What happened to the spotlight at night shinning on the Kissing Camels?

We apologize for your less than stellar visit to the Club. You are absolutely correct that the doorman should have opened your door upon driving to the entrance. We have coached our staff to be more attentive to arriving guests. As for your dining experience, we apologize for the lack of propane in our heaters. This is unacceptable and we will make certain this never happens again. Club/resort casual attire is expected at the Club Dining Room in the main resort, but guests are allowed to come to the Fireside Lounge or Kissing Camels Grille for a more casual environment. I’m not sure what the circumstances were at the time of your visit, but the spot light still shines on the Kissing Camels. We truly regret that you did not receive the level of service you are deserving of. We hope you will consider staying with us again to not only enjoy our wonderful location, but also the professional service standard we are proudly known for.
