“Over-sized rooms & $mega-million$ views.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2014

This resort may have a 70's-look, but the views are outstanding and the property has been well cared for. Almost every room has access from the outside, but that didn't matter at all to us. The views of Garden Of The Gods, with Pike's Peak directly behind it, were truly breathtaking (we were literally, without breath).

Our room, with two double beds, was a third larger than a Marriott. Two sinks, on two separate vanities, walk-in closet, gas-logs fireplace, deck, sofa, frig, safe, on & on. Was it a little dated? Yes. Was it clean with everything in working order? Yes. Was the staff friendly & helpful? Yes.

I forgot my razor and I called to see if I could come by the front desk and get one. The front desk person I spoke with insisted he bring it up to me, and did, about two minutes later.

We had dinner in the bar at night (you can't have on jeans or shorts in the restaurant). The setting was awesome. Big window looking out onto one of the pools, with GOG and Pike's Peak in the background. Food was great (a little pricey, but good) and the service was very friendly.

Very convenient to Pike's Peak, Cog Railway, Air Force Academy, GOG.

I would stay there again without hesitation.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms (only two floors of rooms) provided great views.

We arrived in the dark, so we couldn't really see the view, but could tell it was going to be great (which it was). We checked in at the front desk about 9 pm. The front desk lady didn't seem to know where anything was and directed to park on the other view side of the room where there are no parking spots. The room was a king suite in the south building on the second floor. The building does not have a elevator for this area so we had to carry are heavy bags up the stairs. Once in the room it was ok but seemed a little out dated and ruff around the edges. The balcony was awesome and about the size of the room. We had dinner at the bar but it closed at 10 pm so we hard to hurry. The bars drinks and food were pretty good. Sleeping that night was not good because the mattress was firm and lumpy and the a/c didn't work very well. Once we woke up in the morning, the view of the garden of the gods made me forget any bad things I felt about the hotel. Also, we booked our soon for Tuesday through Thursday and our rate was $109 a night. For the price and the view it is the best place ever.

The view was hands down the best experience of this resort. It doesn't matter if you are in your room, dining or poolside, there is always the beautiful view of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods.

The one downside was the room I stayed in was a outdated and a lot of the furniture and decorations in the room looked worn out.

All worth it for the view!

Friends hosted a themed farewell party with an overnight stay. After three years in C Springs, I was surprised to find this quiet, welcoming jewel! Best views of Garden of the Gods in town! All rooms face the GOG. The food and service were superb. Gluten free foods that are very well priced. Abundant wildlife-blue birds, deer, etc. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the suite had a fireplace, balcony, & couch. My only reservation was the carpet in the room was clean but a bit dated. Spa, tennis, & heated pool are available. This is a must return place for us.

We had never heard of the Garden of the Gods Club before receiving the invitation to a friend's promotion ceremony to be held at the club. Even though there were a few negative reviews of the club the vast majority were positive, so we decided to stay at the Garden of the Gods Club. Great choice!

The architecture maybe 60's, but the place is well maintained. Our room was large, in good repair, and had an extremely comfortable bed. There was a coffee maker, safe, and refrigerator. The front desk staff were all pleasant, efficient, and very knowledgeable of club amenities and local attractions. And the view "Fit for the Gods". Out our back window was Pikes Peak framed by rock formation in the Garden of the Gods.

We toured the club grounds and all the rooms are built to have a view of the Garden of the Gods. There is a very nice spa, fitness center, and pool. The club did a fantastic job on our friend's promotion ceremony and lunch was excellent.

The club is also very convenient to Old Colorado City (and it's many fine restaurants) and Manitou Springs (Pikes Peak Cog Railroad, fine restaurants, and unique shopping).

We will stay here again when visiting Colorado Springs.

Room Tip: There isn't a bad view anywhere.

I have been to many places but this place goes totally out of the way to please down to the shoe horn. Happy hour was so good I never ate supper. The view was phenomenal. I just wish I could take their bathroom setup home. Perfect to the smallest detail

Beautiful view of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the gods! One of the nicest rooms I've stayed at, balcony, fireplace, walk-in closet, nice size bathroom. A bigger tub would have made it perfect. The common areas were beautiful and well maintained.
