Really amazing spot. Enjoy the view of the Garden of the Gods from any room just after sunrise - it is unforgettable! Short trip to the Gardens and well worth it, then drive on to Pikes Peak. A day you will remember for the rest of your life.

The restaurant is superb and prices are most reasonable.

A great visit, and would return here without any concerns.

The location is awesome, but it's too bad this hotel/motel has not kept up with the times. It clearly needs to be updated to warrant calling itself a resort, or at least be on par with the lovely cliffside views and the beautiful nearby modern homes. Its current appeal still seems to be aimed at the 70 to 80 yr-old crowd who is comfortable with 1950 decor.
The room itself was very large, including a huge dual bathroom & walk-in closet, but the color scheme, furniture, & peeling old wallpaper in the tub area were disappointing. And I was personally disgusted over having to look at someone else's old cigarette butts that were left on the patio table.
Our worst criticism is that this hotel surprised us at check-out with a ridiculous RESORT FEE of $15 per night!!!! We take offense at being gouged surreptitiously for "extras" which should be typically included with the price of a room.
If it wasn't for the spectacular view and natural beauty of the Garden of the Gods we wouldn't consider staying there again, but if management ever gets with the times and does some renovation & REMOVES the RESORT FEE, we will definitely return.

Room Tip: Some rooms open to the outside like a motel, and the interior hotel-like hallways are locked at nigh...

Stayed here 3 nights as I awaited a conference in Denver. With a grand view of the red rocks as well as pike's peak, these accommodations were amazing. The room we had was spacious and lots of great dining within a 5 minute drive. Our first time in Colorado Springs and staying here definitely made it a memorable one. Drinking coffee while the fireplace burned made for quite the cozy afternoon and evenings. A definite recommend.

Great hotel with incredible front row view of the Garden of the Gods rock formations and Pike's Peak in the background. The hotel was very clean with excellent room service and very friendly staff. Strong WiFi signal and newspapers every morning were much appreciated. Definitely a wonderful place to spend a few days as close to nature as you can get in a hotel!

Room Tip: Request to stay on a room that has been renovated.

Room was very spacious with an unbelievable view of the garden of the gods, as the lodge sits directly above the visitor center. Breakfast was wonderful with large panoramic windows to view the park. Excellent customer service and an all around great experience. Very reasonable weekday rates.

The Lodge is an excellent hotel with fantastic views of the Garden of the Gods. It appears to be a 50's style hotel but has been renovated, is very clean and the staff is great. Excellent wifi and wired connection in the rooms is a big plus if you are on a business trip. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds. The conference room also was excellent. Minor negatives were the need for minor upgrades (dated carpet, TV has no menu so you spend much time trying to find shows and it's Comcast??, etc.). Of course you'll be outside anyway unless the weather is bad enjoying the beautiful scenery!

Room Tip: Ask for renovated room with fireplace!
