Description: It might sound far-fetched, but believe it - our patients, their families and the community enjoy some of the tastiest food in town at the Manna Restaurant. Unlike most hospitals, Castle Rock Adventist doesn't contract with a giant food-service purveyor to dish up meals. Instead, we hired Executive Chef Dan Skay, who combines culinary creativity with health-conscious preparations to create savory, eye-appealing meals utelizing fresh herbs and vegetables from our very own on site garden! Dan Skay is the opening Executive Chef for Castle Rock Adventist Hospital and works closely with Manna Restaurant's Chef de Cuisine- Adam Freisem. In 1992, Chef Dan was the winner of the Great Chefs of America Culinary Competition and also the Grand Prize Winner of Custom Foods Golden Recipe Competition. Other accolades included winner of 1995 Premier Chefs of America, 1996 National Cully Award, 2000 Colorado Governor's Symposium Celebrating Colorado Cuisine, winning Best Colorado Entree, and 2009 AHF National Culinary Competition Gold Medal Winner in Palm Springs, CA and the Wall Street Journal title of Hospital Top Chef. Recently Manna Restaurant won AHF's (Assoc. For Healthcare Food Service)Spotlight Award for Innovation and more recently NRA/MUFSO's Best Concept Award.

“Great Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

Great food! A family member was in the hospital and I stopped to get something to eat from the "cafeteria". Low and behold this was a full fledged restaurant. Outstanding prices and the food was great. We have even ordered take out from Manna. It is a little hard to get through on their order number at times. However, the food has been consistent and when we have run out of ideas to go to a restaurant, Manna has been old faithful!

“Changed the way I feel about hospital food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

This place kept me sane when I was at Castle Rock Adventist after having my son. The food was delicious, especially their burgers!

“The new menu, yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

Came in today, heard about the new menu. Wonderful new choices. We first tried the Rhubarb Avocado Ceviche and the Compressed Watermelon Salad, so flavorful. The Beef Tataki was unique and my wife's Seared Ono beautifully presented. We couldn't pass up the dessert and shared the Bacon Chocolate Crunch Bar with Maple Sauce. Left very happy, but not over stuffed. Still an unbelievable experience, especially from a hospital.

“our favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

This is my second review. The menu has changed since the last review. Still very delicious and lower priced. The service has gotten better. My husband and I use Manna restaurant as our new "fast food". Whenever we do not feel like cooking, we come to the Manna. There is always daily specials, so even if the main menu stays the same, the specials change daily. Their angus burger (1/2 pound for $6) is the BEST around. We buy one, split it, and each have a small salad ($3). We leave feeling satisfied but not stuffed.

“Great priced family dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

Surprisingly good food at very reasonable prices. The best are the burgers and the pizzas. They have a wood fire pizza oven. They do not serve alcohol FYI. The place operates like any other sit down restaurant but also offers to go quick items. Nice family meal for 4 under 40$ !
