“Excellent B&B in a great location”

My boyfriend frequently travels to Denver on business, so I joined him on a recent trip and we started with a few nights down in Cascade. He was a bit hesitant about being in a small place that's not really in a town, but it wasn't long before he was in love with the inn and it's location. We stayed in the suite and LOVED sitting out there and drinking coffee after breakfast. (Thank you to Sheri for sending us up with a whole pot!) It even made the few work calls we had to take seem not so bad. The breakfasts were PHENOMENAL! I can't say enough about this, except to say that my boyfriend in quite possibly the pickiest eater on the planet. I was a bit worried when he saw the southwestern style plate that he wouldn't like it, but he LOVED it and raves about the food whenever we talk about the trip. Sheri and Tom were incredibly helpful in guiding us to places to eat and hike - without their guidance we wouldn't have driven up to the state park and had a completely solitary and beautiful hike. The room was just lovely, and the whole place is spotless. The best part for me was when I saw deer walking thru the front yard during breakfast. The location is great - 5 minutes from Manitou Springs where we had fun just bipping around town, and 20 from Colorado Springs if you want a more urban setting. All in all an awesome place and we know we want to go back.

It was our very first time in CO and our first experience staying at a B&B. We were very happy to have picked this inn.
Inn at Cascade on the Pike's Peak Road in Cascade CO (just outside of Colorado Springs) was one of the highlights of our trip to Colorado. The location is fabulous, up on the mountain road, away from the city. There's a hot-tub in the woods behind the inn to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. Tom and Sheri, the inn-keeper, couldn't be nicer and had lots of helpful hints of things to do and see in the area. Breakfast was served Hot and was catered to individual's diet needs. The pancakes and hash browns were just fabulous!!! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The inn and gardens are beautiful, and there are restaurants nearby for dinner. This place is convniently located to all major attarctions.

What a trip we had on our adventure to the Inn of Cascade. We flew into a snow blizzard & had to spend our first night in a jeep due to all the passes were closed to the Inn.

When we finally arrived the next day, Sheri & Tom, the owners of the Cascade more than made up for our problems. We were greeted by Tom, who showed us around the beautiful old fashioned southwestern style villa. We had a fascinating room, decorated in detail to match the rest of the Inn in southwestern style, with a big comfortable bed, walk in shower, & a balcony with a unbelievable view of Pikes Peak.

Before we settled in for a view of our surroundings, we soaked in the outside hot tub under the snow dripping trees. What a relaxing, unique experience that was. We then had our choice of visiting the small mountain villages with shops of all types and restaurants of all varieties, a trip to Pikes Peak, or a short drive back to Colorado Springs with art, a zoo, and so many other sites.

The next morning Sheri served us the most delicious, southwestern style breakfast we had ever laid our eyes on. Blue cornmeal pancakes with whipped creme & strawberries on top, small type potatoe patties, & turkey-chicken sausage. Mmm, I can still taste that treat!

My husband could not understand all of the fuss about staying at a B&B. Now he says this was well worth the effort & will never again stay at a hotel.

The hospitality & caring service from the Inn of Cascade made us feel so welcome & like being at home. Staying there is well worth a trip to the area alone or if you are visiting for another reason, this is definately the place to stay.

Have fun!!!

“Beautiful Southwest Style B&B in Pikes Peak area.”

I recently stayed at this B&B. What a wonderful discovery! The owners could not be more friendly. The property is located within a woodsy area with stunning views of the mountains. Every room is tastefully and wonderfully decorated with southwest furnishings. And I could not stop raving about the breakfast Sheri cooked. I would highly recommend this B&B.

A charming small inn superbly decorated with Southwestern folk art. Each of the three rooms is very private and impeccably clean. Our two breakfasts were truly gourmet, including their unique juevos rancheros on New Year's morning. We'll be attempting to replicate the recipe at home. Inn keepers are delightful, unobstrusive but very helpful and clearly love their property and caring for their guests.
