“Great Little Spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

The people that work this campground are phenominal. They go out of their way to help you with ANYTHING. They are knowledgeable of the area and gave us great suggestions on what to do when we weren't rafting. The facilities were so clean you could almost eat off the floor. I can't wait to come back next year.

Our Boy Scout troop was picked at camp by bus for a pleasant trip to the resort. Check in was smooth and helmets, booties, and PFD's were obtained seamlessly. After a quick trip to the river and a safety speech we were on the water. Our guide and trip leader Drew was great, others in our group had similar experiences either their guides! Bottom line we had fun and were treated well!

That's great to hear your Boy Scout troop had a good camping experience with us, and good rafting trip, too! We hope to see you all again another year. Thanks for your review!

First I want to say- the owner is SUPER friendly and accomodating. We stayed in the rustic cabin, that is exactly what is is. There is a bed, electricity and a fan. They make this very clear when you book, and that was appreciated.
There are picnic tables and fire pits with grates for cooking (as long as they are not in a fire ban). We had some people that were disappointed next to us because they were looking for more of the traditional 'camping' experience. There is no river/lake on site and there are no trails on site. This was fine for us because we rafted and ATV'd during the day so we really spent very little time on the campground. There are toilets and showers which were very clean (need tokens for the shower, they alot you 7 minutes per token). Overall this was nicely maintained.

Room Tip: There are only a few cabins on site, so if you want this you need to book in advance.

We very much appreciate your honest comments and review. We believe in being honest with our accomadations; they aren't five star cabins, but there clean, neat and always include linens at no additional cost. We work hard to maintain clean bathrooms and showers, so I'm glad that was apparent to you. We appreciate your camping us. Thank you!

The owner/managers were great--helpful, so friendly, even passed out Andes candies at night. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well kept. The view was quite nice. However, the campsites were just OK; they were kind of scrubby and exposed. There is a bar across the road that stays open late, and you can hear the crowd from the campsite. We don't "roadside camp" on purpose, so we were a little surprised when this is what we came upon. However, it was good for what it was.

Room Tip: The is roadside camping. Choose a spot that's towards the back.

Thanks for your review. I'm happy to hear you found the facilities clean and professional. We're constantly doing work on our camp sites to further improve them. We always reserve campers in the nicest, most secluded sites available. And if you see another site that is more of what you're looking for you can always request to be moved if that site is available. Just let us know! Thanks.

Echo Canyon Campground & RV Park was a tremendous place to tent camp. My wife and I stayed an extra night at the Park since we had such an enjoyable first night. The Park is located right across the road to Echo Canyon White Water Rafting, where we had a trip scheduled. The showers were new and spotless as well as the toilets. The people running the place were extremely friendly and accommodating. Fee’s were very reasonable. I would like to see the company erect some solid fencing across the front of the park to help with noise abatement from the highway and the Bar across the highway. I would stay here again.
