“Much more fun than I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2011

Enjoyed this attraction. Some things were closed due to off season (food). I originally was in doubt due to high price of $25 each, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Admission includes incline down into the gorge, aerial tram in front of bridge and of course bridge itself. A trolley also will pick you up and ride you around park. Much more to do if you take kids. You can walk, ride or drive across bridge. Incline goes down in about 5 minutes and they let you get out for about 10-15 minutes and walk around and take pictures. Aerial tram takes about the same time and takes you to the attractions on the other side of the bridge.

“Unique way to see a fantastic canyon but not a national park experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2011

The view of the canyon from the bridge or aerial tram is breathtaking and not possible unless you can fly. The incline railway provides access to the river, and the view up the vertical canyon walls is a wonderful complement to the views from above. Unfortunately, this is a privately run (but city owned) attraction. Expect a bit of tackiness and not the national park experience of Mesa Verde or Rocky Mountain National Park. The all inclusive price seemed a bit high considering that some of the attractions were not running during this early September visit, and those that were ran much less frequently than during the high season. Go to experience the national wonder of the gorge and not to be entertained artificially and you won't be disappointed.

“Amazing - definitley a Bucket List 'er”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

Plan on spending 4 or 5 hours to take it all in. Of course the Bridge is cool - the engineering, especially when it was built is mind-boggling... but the incline and gondola and gun fight and Sky Coaster & big horn sheep, it's a very enjoyable time! A slice of Americana & a reminder of what Americans can do when we put our minds to it.

“This should never be a tourist spot...complete waste”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2011

If you are nearby this spot, I will think twice before visiting it.
But I travelled more than 150 miles to see just this bridge??? made the biggest joke out of me
The bridge is definitely at a great height, but in terms of its tourist valuation, it is a drag...one which has been dragged a bit too much!!!
Also for this, they charge 15$/person...what a waste
Will recommend not to visit...even to the locals of that area

I chose length of visit <1 hour...couldn't find a lesser one

Thank you for taking the time to post. Each year, approximately 330,000 visitors come to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. The majority of them spend four or more hours at the park. There is a free viewpoint located right outside of the parking lot area for those who wish to only see the bridge and not partake in all that the attraction has to offer.
