This waterfall is very beautiful and the water is an amazing color! We did the hike into the waterfall and down those steps! I warn you that there are a lot of steps and it is very steep! Being physically fit is an asset. The hike up is in rainforest and it is very interesting if you like to see different plants. We saw several lizards... blue tailed lizards and Central American Whip-tailed lizards. We heard white-faced monkeys and could see them moving in the trees way back but did not get a great visual. The hike is not so bad but those stairs were killer!! I am not physically fit but did manage to get up them and back to the trail. All in all it was a great trip but wear good shoes and lots of water but do not drink too much at once. That was my big mistake.
