“Casual dining with interesting twists on favorites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

The short walk from our hotel along the river made this a nice place to go for dinner. Burgers and wood fired pizza made up much of the menu, but those items had interesting twists such as the wild game on the pizza my son had and the root beer BBQ sauce on my chicken pizza. My wife and daughter enjoyed the locally grown and grass fed burgers served on chard instead of buns, for the gluten-free option. There were many gluten-free options for those so inclined. There was also an entire section with quinoa dishes. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Dining room was big and open, so a bit noisy. Patio has nice views of the mountains. Prices were OK for a resort type town. There were so many interesting and delicious sounding dishes on the menu that we want to go back to try other options.

“Great location but poor food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

We have dined at the location in South Main twice now. The first time our food was not good, so we gave it a second try. The second time was our final visit. We have ordered three different types of pizza, a calzone, spinach dip, and sausage sampler. I would not recommend any of these. I recommend going to the location on Linderman Avenue for a beer but somewhere else for dinner.

“great beer and burgers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

Even though we had to wait ca.an hour to be seated, it was worth it! The burgers are fantastic - good meat and lots of veggies. Their beers are tasting great, too - we had one already while waiting. The staff is very attentive, friendly and serving fast. Great place to eat!

“Bad start to a great night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014 via mobile

We stopped at the new location and waited for several minutes and did not get any service. When we got up to leave the owner noticed. He followed us to the exit and apologized and offered to buy us dinner. Very nice gesture. I felt bad for him because he was genuinely sorry. It's always possible to miss a customer so in looking for another place to dine we accidentally drove past the original Eddyline. We stopped at this location sat down and were promptly served and had a great experience. Having an open mind and positive attitude and not taking one oversight to seriously has always been the best approach. We were extremely satisfied with the food and service. We will try the new location when we return to Buena Vista. I'm sure it will be excellent.
