“It was good...”

Spacious rooms with fireplace, they have a charming bar and restaurant on site. Run by a family they did a good job of handling a bunch of us. This not a chain hotel so expect a down to earth experience. The owner showed us the room and lit the fireplace for us...

Room Tip: Most room have a decent view, the hotel is on a small hill which affords the view...

My wife and i were looking for a night out together. We took my mother-in-law to visit our son and looked for a close by place to enjoy some time alone. We own a bed and breakfast and always look for a locally owned Inn that serves beverages in the evening and a good breakfast in the morning. We enjoy not having to come and go as we traveled for 3 hours to get there. We wanted to enjoy where we were. We were not disappointed with either. There is a very nice restaurant but we chose to have a light meal in the pub. That was not a mistake! The pub was having a monthly meeting of scotch (?) drinkers and they were having a great time. Trival games were just part of the fun. The owners, John & Maureen (same names as ours) are a treasure to meet and you will enjoy their company. Our room was a suite and only happy things can be said. Some of the local characters are the rabbits and squirrels. They play non-stop and know they are the local entertainment. If you are looking for value and a comfortable and relaxing experience, you won't be disappointed.

I am very impressed with this hotel! The rooms are spacious and have a fireplace, kitchen area, even books to read if you get bored. The staff is very friendly and free breakfast is super delicious. There is free wi-fi too! The rooms arent numbered instead they have unique names like Norwood and Cortez. The rooms are very clean. My only constructive criticism would be some room updates, but overall my room and stay was great. I will be staying here again!

This is a nice and quiet hotel. Very safe. At the airport. Very close to two major highways. Staff were all very nice, friendly, and relaxed. Made you feel at home. An English pub on site, as well as a European style restaurant. Rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. Will be my first choice when I return to Denver.

We spent several nights at Hilltop while visiting family in May. The owner and the staff are all lovely and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed.

Our room was huge and very well-equipped and the breakfast was really outstanding.

A superb choice if you're visiting Broomfield.

Stayed here for three nights on a business trip. It's really a large B&B, with en-suite rooms facing a central courtyard. Run by a friendly older couple, it is a relaxed, cosy place, close to the main Denver-Boulder route but surprisingly quiet. The room was somewhat dated in decor but was immaculately clean, and amenities were replenished promptly every day. Breakfast included excellent local granola. There's a British theme to the place throughout, and the Burns pub in the courtyard features a good collection of whiskies, including a gamut of Scottish single malts as well as offerings from local distilleries, and pub grub for dinner.

The only "con" I'd mention is the older condition of the building - noise traveled easily between rooms, and the window of the room I stayed in didn't open. Hot water for the shower was somewhat erratic. Minor quibbles though. If I need to make another trip to the area I'd definitely consider staying here again.

I booked this blind via Priceline. It was a little hard to find because the street is beside a small airport and was recently renamed from "Jeffco" to "Metro Airport Ave", so my Garmin couldn't find it (put in Jeffco, i.e. Jefferson County). It's a relatively small place with just a few parking spots and you think it's just a pub and restaurant. It's an older 2 story with a nicely landscaped courtyard. But it was a pleasant surprise inside. The British-themed food was excellent and reasonably priced. The complimentary Yorkshire Pudding appetizer was AWESOME. It feels more like a B&B instead of hotel. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with great amenities like a Kreuzig machine, fridge and microwave, and wireless (or wired) high speed internet. Continental and hot breakfast included, with a build your own granola/yogurt bar. I went from being skeptical in the driveway, to being a huge fan.

Room Tip: Call ahead and ask for the owner, John.
