“This place is AWESOME!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

This place is AWESOME!
I traveled with my daughters and we stayed 3 nights. Room was spotless--which is a big one for me as I am SUPER PICKY! Loved the bathroom plan-nice, tiled shower! Wonderful pool and so relaxing to sit on the covered patio and just relax by the fireplace. Great free snacks in the evening. And breakfast was wonderful as well-nice selection and good food.
Kudos to John at the front desk for securing me a room off the 'beaten' path with less noise and foot traffic. And for his patience as I was down at the front desk multiple times in one evening needing more blankets, kleenex, directions--etc!
Also this hotel is so close to Flatirons Mall (great shopping!), good restaurants, and the mountains to hike (Eldorado State Canyon, Dinosaur Ridge, Red Rocks).

The one drawback was this. A large, rowdy group of young boys arrived our second night and the third night took over the pool and covered patio areas. It was like a scene from GIRLS GONE WILD-only it was young boys. They were filling plastic grocery sacks with pool water and launching them over the fence, taking drinks of water and spitting it into the pool, dumping their gatorade and kool aid into the pool -at one point they even had the life saving devices tossed into the pool. They were screaming at the tops of their lungs non-stop from 7-10pm. Where were their parents? Sitting nearby in the covered patio area-that was completely trashed -crushed chips, trash bags, spilled red gatorade. We were in a third floor room overlooking the pool-and their loud carrying on -made it impossible to try to go to sleep early since we were departing early the next day to return home.

I did report it to staff working-but nothing was done. I understand the pool doesn't close until 10pm-but when this type of behavior is going on-that is so dis-respectful to hotel property and other folks staying there--they should have been asked to leave. No one else could enjoy the pool or covered patio area with all of that going on! Or get any peace and quiet in the rooms facing the pool!

Minus the rowdy boys-this place is wonderful and we will stay here again when we return to Denver.

Room tip-ask for a room on the top floor-facing the mountains!

Room Tip: Pick a room that does not overlook the pool --ask for one that has a view of the mountains on the to...

The staff has been friendly and ultra-helpful, and they seem to like their jobs. The free breakfasts typically consist of scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon or ham, pancakes or waffles, potatoes, fresh fruit, OJ, apple juice, various popular dry cereal, coffee/tea, bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt, pastries, etc. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and decoreated in an aesthetically pleasing modern style. The beds are uber-comfy. The bathrooms are huge. The TVs swivel 180° between bedrooms and sitting rooms. I have to think anyone who has a bad experience here was just unlucky. A true gem in the Front Range!

Stayed 6 nights in the 2 BR trio. Plenty of room for a family of 5 with 2 small children. Amazingly clean, brand new, awesome breakfast every morning, but most of all... The customer service. Diane went above and beyond to complete our booking, the lady working the desk offered personal advice for restaurants in Boulder... I can not say enough good about how this house concept is. Large outdoor cooking/seating area. I will stay at a Hyatt House whenever possible. I only hope the same customer service is offered at other location...but I think it will be hard to match what Broomfield has to offer.

Room Tip: Book the 2BR trio suites near the elevators by the front lobby. You can grab breakfast and take it...

I am a travel agent and have been to many hotels worldwide. The Hyatt House in Broomfield/Boulder, Colorado is a great place to stay for business, leisure & family travel.

The hotel does not have a restaurant except for a wonderful Happy Evening Social during the weekdays and a wonderful breakfast every morning. The social evenings include wine, beer, all types of beverages, as well as heavy hor d'ouevres which could easily be a light dinner.

Hyatt House rooms are very clean and updated as the hotel is fairly new. Each room is a suite with a small kitchenette or full kitchen area. The hotel also has a clean feeling.
There is a pool and small fitness center, along with a complimentary newspaper daily.

This is a hotel that can provide a great comfortable stay for as short or as long as you like. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

It's not the type of hotel that has a childrens program, although families are welcome and the rooms can easily accommodate a family. For business travelers or leisure, you could not ask for more if you don't need the full service hotel with restaurants, bar, etc.

The Hyatt House is located approximately 15 minutes from Boulder which is a fabulous college town located in the foothills of the Rocky ountains. From outside the hotel you can view the mountains. Flatirons Mall is also located less than 1 mile from the hotel. The mall is terrific and has movie theatres and restaurants.

I would highly recommend this hotel if are going to be near Boulder or Broomfield, Colorado

Room Tip: I would not choose a room overlooking the pool unless it is on the top floor as you might hear nois...

Stayed at the Hyatt house hotel in may 2013, I found it to be very clean and the Internet connection ( both wired and wireless is provided) is very fast. The hotel has a kitchen with everything else you will need to cook your own food. Over all it is a top hotel for a 3 star hotel.

This hotel is brand new. We enjoyed it immensely. We stayed during the weekend of the University of Colorado graduation, so the hotel was quite full and they were unable to offer a hotel room upgrade. The hotel was in a nice location. The breakfasts and happy hours (M-Th) were great. For happy hour, they offer sodas, beer (Fat Tire!) and wine along with a couple appetizer like food options.

If you are visiting when it's warmer, you can take advantage of the outside sitting area. They also have grills Weber Genesis grills available.

It should be noted that the rooms all have showers stalls instead of bathtubs.

Stayed at the Hyatt House in May 2013 with the family in a suite. Paid $140/night, which was a good price considering everything in the area was pretty booked up because of CU graduation. Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and the free continental breakfast was a step above what you would normally expect. I don't think the breakfast will win any awards on Food Network, but for free...it was pretty good. The hotel also does a happy hour with free food in the evening during the week where they sell beer. We would stay again for sure!
