This is more of a rustic no frills lodge than a "spa". It's neither a spa nor a resort. It's a quiet lodge about a mile outside of Breckenridge perched high in the hills. The views are spectacular. The lodge itself is older and basic. The dining area seems abandoned with a bar area that is cleared out and probably only used for special events. The breakfast bar gets a C-. However, if you're looking for a quiet lodge with a nice main area to hang out and read, look at the mountains and just relax, this is your place. The staff is nice and the shuttle will ferry you around like your own personal taxi. The price was great, too. A good value. If you want luxury, this is not your place, but the price reflects that.

My husband surprised me with a trip to Breckinridge and a stay at The Lodge and Spa and it was wonderful. The front desk staff were friendly, the continental breakfast was just enough, and the shuttle drivers were fantastic! We would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for a enjoyable visit!

This was an amazing place to stay in Breckenridge. We were a little hesitant to have chosen a place offering a deal because it was up in the mountains verses in the heart of Breckenridge (where the ski lifts are). We were pleasantly surprised, not only with the view of the city and mountains from the dining hall, hot tubs, lobby and rooms; but also with the fabulous customer service we received. Everyone went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Every need we had was quickly granted with a positive attitude. The free shuttle to the city center (only 5-10 minutes away, depending on the specific location) was easy and reliable -- the driver has an on-call cell phone you can call anytime for a ride anywhere in Breckenridge. And of the four different drivers we had in two days' time, all were friendly and helpful.

We stay almost every weekend in Breckenridge and just use a decently priced hotel. This weekend we happened to stay at the lodge and spa.. It was fantastic and we have already booked our next stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as well as very clean. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The offer a free shuttle down into town so you have no parking worries either. Thank you for making our weekend carefree.
