We stayed in the hotel room at The Village of Breckenridge for 4 nights. The staff was extremely nice and helpful (the manager even gave us his own coffee and filters since the hotel only had decaf in stock). We thought the beds were perfectly fine and slept soundly for 8-9 hours all nights but one. The one night is due to the thin walls and drunken skiers. The room is spacious and included a queen bed, pull out couch, mini fridge, coffeemaker, and TV/armoire. No microwave however. We had an end room which may have been for handicapped people based on the bathroom which was large but not enough shelf space. The shower had great water pressure, and was stocked with more towels than we ever needed.
The hotel hot tubs are indoors. There are 3 hot tubs clustered together that each seat 5 adults comfortably, and 6 uncomfortably. The hot tub temp is 104 degrees but can be cooled off by opening the door or window to the outside.
The location is ideal. You are a 2 minute walk from the bottom of the Falcon lift at Peak 9. And the hotel is a 2 minute walk to Main Street in Breckenridge where there are lots of dining and shopping options. The parking garage at the hotel fills up quickly, but you can drop your keys at the front desk and they will valet it for you for free in that case. Other than our drive to Copper Mountain 1 day, we never moved the car. If you plan on skiing Breck the whole time, you may want to consider using Colorado Mountain Express or some other service to take you to and from the Denver airport and forgo car rental.
