We stayed here for 4 days at the beginning of March 07 for 4 days of skiing. Our stay at the AT Inn ranks as one of the best accomodation experiences we have encountered in our travels. The owners and staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming. The room (we stayed in the Halfmoon Pass room) was clean, comfortable, and cute. The breakfasts were very enjoyable (and filling!), and the happy hour of wine and snacks in front of the fire was always most welcome at the end of a day of skiing. The main dining/living room has wonderful views overlooking the town with the mountains acting as a backdrop. The inn itself is a very attractive log cabin style building decorated in an appropriate western/mountain style theme. Skiers are provided for through the use of the heated ski & boot storage room. The inn is located at the south end of town on the free shuttle bus route (which we used twice daily for getting to the slopes and restaurants). It's about a 5-10 minute walk downhill to the central part of Main Street for shops and restaurants.
This is an excellent choice for people who are perhaps a little hesitant of B&Bs. There is ample opportunity to socialize with the other guests if you want to (e.g. the happy hour), equally, it's a place that respects your privacy.
A quick restaurant recommendation: we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Cellar. A little pricey, but well worth it.
