I enjoyed a burger for lunch alone as the rest of my family skied. They sat me at a long table with strangers, which was fine. I had to ask after 10 minutes if anyone would wait on me. The waitress snarled that she didn;t know. Eventually a waitress took my order and was mostly efficient at serving me a delicious burger and ok fries. The fries are handcut, but the seasoning is just average. I would give them another try, but the service could be nicer.
We decided to eat here one night hoping it would be a break from all the high prices we were paying for lunch on the mountains. The food tasted great and the service was good also. This was about the only time we ate in Breck for around $10 a person. The Philly cheesesteak was great. We went early one evening, but as we were leaving the atmosphere was beginning to pick up in the bar area. I would suggest anyone looking for great tasting food at a great price to eat here.
Top 5 Burger, Top 2 Nachos...can't go wrong.
My husband considers the Empire Burger to be one of the best he's ever eaten. I love, love, love their nachos!!
