My wife and I stayed at the Wedgewood Lodge in Breckenridge to hike two 14ers (peaks over 14,000 feet in altitude). The condo we rented #306 was beautiful with a great view. It had a full kitchen (we like to shop at the City Market and cook our own food), good carpet and living space. It is a studio, meaning there is not a separate bedroom, the double bed is between the bar of the kitchen and the living room.
The condo was reserved through the Tonti Management, Inc. The condo had to be paid for in advance. Also, there are rules that are somewhat peculiar. For instance, upon check-out you must remove your trash and recyled rubbish. The dishes must be washed and pets are not allowed anywhere on the property. I found this last restriction questionable, since upon checking in we saw a family with a small dog and then later that day, our neighbor in #301 had a dog in his room. When I went to discuss this issue with the desk clerk, I noticed a large dog sleeping behind the counter, so I figured this rule is ignored by the staff as well as the tenants. I noticed the same animal when we checked out. There is also a so-called rule about quiet time between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The hot tub is supposed to be closed after 10:00 p.m. Obviously, this rule is ignored as well, because people were still in the hot tub having a good time well after 10:00 p.m. We noticed the noise because the hot tub was near our condo.
My wife and I cannot complain about the condo, it was clean and comfortable; however, be prepared for the parameters of the rental.
