We recently ate lunch at the Columbine Cafe during our week
long stay in Breckenridge. When we arrived every table was filled-that is a good sign. We had the reuben sandwich-it
was very good and the service was great.
Huge portions at a very reasonable price. Very small place and kind of cramped, but the food is delicious. Would definitely dine here again!
I cannot recall the last time I saw such huge portions of good homecooked food. My son ordered pancakes and was advised that each is "the size of the plate". The waitress was not kidding. My strapping teenager couldn't even finish two of them! Our meals were equally generous and delicious. This is one of those places that seems to draw a lot of locals and for good reason. Will definitely be our first breakfast stop next time so we have all those good leftovers.
